Infographic: Fifteen years of Brazilian Journal of Motor Behavior

The Brazilian Journal of Motor Behavior (BJMB) is a quadriannual, peer-reviewed, free of charge/fee and open-access journal published by the Brazilian Society of Motor Behavior (SOCIBRACOM). The BJMB has published original contributions within the multidisciplinary study of human motor behavior, in the broad scope of motor control, development and learning, movement disorders, sports, clinical, theoretical and model studies. Since 2019 the BJMBpublishes manuscripts only in English. In the same year, BJMB started to invite researchers to be guest editors in article collections, providing an excellent opportunity to promote high-quality contents within the field. The BJMB is the main motor behavior journal in the Latin American. It is widely recognized for its significant academic contribution and indexed in the UlrichsWeb Global Serial Directory, Diadorium, Gale Directory Library, Google Scholar, Road Directory of Open Access Scholary resources and Red Iberoamericana de Innovación y Conocimiento Científico. The number of edition and papers has sustainable and significantly increased in the last years, with over 500 authors contributing with 121 manuscripts, distributed in 40 numbers. The time of peer-reviewed process is short (first revision- 26 days) and paper publication is quick (57 days). The BJMB was launched with its first edition published in December of 2006 and, thus, we are celebrating its 15thanniversary. For that, the BJMB launches a new type of manuscript: INFOGRAPHIC. This initiative aims to provide a quick, easy-to-use and enjoyable publication that conveys notable knowledge. Two types of infographics will be publishable: a) theory perspective: visual material to theory acknowledge to facilitate the understanding of models, theory frameworks, concepts, principles, and approaches in the field; b) article infographic: visual material about interventional effects on motor learning, development and control sustained by reviews and/or meta-analysis. The infographic section will be added to those already existing: research, systematic review and meta-analysis, mini review, scoping review, research notes, current opinion, critique, and tutorials. It is interesting to highlight the section about tutorial, which emphasizes and provides reflection on the use of one or several methods or self-instruction in motor behavior. Finally, the current opinion section publishes pieces of diverse authors around the world that provide perspectives on a hot, relevant, and perhaps controversial topic within the scope of BJMB. We would like to congratulate all for this important occasion and to wish that the BJMB continues publishing impactful and relevant contributions in the motor behavior field still for many years to come.

The Brazilian Federal Supreme Court and the Normalisation of Barbarity

This paper aims to explain the legal-political vocabulary that informs the decisions of the Brazilian Supreme Court on prison issues, giving prominence to the dimensions of race, gender, class and sexuality. In particular, it seeks to show the role of judicial action in the reproduction of black genocide, with significant implications for women, and how the Supreme Court acts as an authority over the barbarism installed in the criminal justice system. Contributions of Motor Behavior to Physical Education: what has changed in the last 15 years?

This article aimed to continue with the reflections on the relationship between Motor Behavior as a field of investigation and Physical Education as an area of knowledge, seeking to analyze what changes have occurred in the last 15 years, regarding the challenges and suggestions formulated in an article that I have published in the Brazilian Journal of Motor Behavior’s first issue, in 2006. The analyzes carried out that were based on data extracted from publications throughout this period allow us to conclude that the picture has not had significant changes, particularly concerning the contribution of Motor Behavior researchers to a better definition of the academic identity of Physical Education, which is necessary for the proper contextualization of researches performed on motor behavior in the field. The results show the researchers' lack of interest in discussing more macroscopic themes of epistemological nature, concentrating on the publication of articles to increase their scientific productivity.

Aposentadorias e pensões no Brasil: progressivas ou regressivas?

SWTICH DE ESQUEMAS ANTIRRETROVIRAIS DURANTE A PANDEMIA DE COVID-19 EM UM CENTRO DE REFERÊNCIA DA AMÉRICA LATINA

INTRODUÇÃO : O tratamento da infecção pelo vírus da imunodeficiência humana (HIV) é realizado por meio da terapia antirretroviral (TARV) e vem apresentando avanços importantes no decorrer dos anos. Ocorreu a introdução de novas drogas e classes que ampliaram de modo significativo as opções para o tratamento da infecção pelo HIV-1. Existem razões para a troca (Swtich) da TARV, são eles : manutenção da supressão viral, resistência, probabilidade de maior adesão ao tratamento, eventos adversos, interações medicamentosas (1). Durante a pandemia de Covid-19 que vivenciamos desde março de 2020 no Brasil muitas dificuldades ocorreram nos serviços de saúde, principalmente para as pessoas que vivem com HIV como : acesso aos serviços, diagnóstico, tratamento e acompanhamento (2.3). OBJETIVO: Avaliar a prevalência de trocas de esquemas em um centro de referência da América Latina no período de Janeiro de 2020 a 31 de Julho de 2021.METODOLOGIA : Realizamos um estudo transversal no período de 2020 a 2021 , utilizando o sistema de informação : Sistema de Controle Logístico de Medicamentos (SICLOM) do Ministério da Saúde . Os dados foram analisados no Statistical Package for the Social Science(SPSS® ) 22.RESULTADOS : No período do estudo foram detectadas 473 trocas. Em 2020 ocorreram 283 trocas, 83 em mulheres e 200 em homens. E 2021 até o dia 31/07/2021 foram detectadas 190 trocas, 76 ocorreram em mulheres e 114 em homens. As trocas ocorreram devido : resistência, reações adversas, gestação , tratamento concomitante da tuberculose e simplificação do tratamento ( Figura 1 e 2)). Figura 1 – Ocorências de Swtich de esquemas antirretroviraisFigura 2- Razões de Trocas de Esquemas Antiretrovirais CONCLUSÃO : Swtich dos esquemas antirretrovirais em utilização pode ser uma estratégia de simplificação da TARV, melhoria da adesão, e em muitos casos a redução de eventos adversos. O arsenal terapêutico no contexto brasileiro é diversificado permitindo uma troca com segurança e sem risco de perda da eficácia virológica. IMPACTO DA PANDEMIA DE COVID-19 NA SAÚDE DO IDOSO: UM ESTUDO A PARTIR DE ARTIGOS ORIGINAIS DA BRAZILIAN JOURNAL OF GERIATRICS AND GERONTOLOGY

A pandemia de COVID-19 foi responsável por diversas e complexas mudanças no que diz respeito a saúde da população idosa com graves consequências para os sistemas de saúde no Brasil e no mundo. O objetivo deste trabalho foi abordar as evidencias científicas publicadas na Brazilian Journal of Geriatrics and Gerontology em relação aos impactos da pandemia de COVID-19 na saúde do idoso. Trata-se de uma revisão bibliográfica do método revisão integrativa da literatura, realizada nos meses de junho de 2021 a outubro de 2021. As buscas foram realizadas através do periódico “Brazilian Journal of Geriatrics and Gerontology” que traz estudos sobre a população idosa. Os descritores/palavras-chaves utilizados foram: “COVID-19”, “Corona Vírus” e “Pandemia” combinados com o operador booleano “AND”. Os critérios de inclusão foram artigos originais publicados no Brazilian Journal of Geriatrics and Gerontology disponibilizados na íntegra, que contemplassem a temática investigada de forma digitial, publicado nos idiomas português e inglês. No total, 6 artigos participaram deste estudo. O grande número de casos e óbitos causado pela disseminação do vírus apresenta grande impacto sobre o sistema de saúde no Brasil no que diz respeito aos serviços ofertados para a população, sobretudo, para pessoas com mais de 60 anos. Ressalta-se ainda a necessidade de maior atenção as condições de saúde da população idosa no enfrentamento da pandemia do Corona Vírus, compreendendo suas particularidades que os inserem em condições de maiores riscos e agravamento das condições clínicas da COVID-19, para que possíveis prejuízos possam ser evitados garantindo a integridade dos idosos.
