“Un-news” is a Chinese newsroom jargon that refers to the process as well as the product of aggregation. It encapsulates clashes between digital and legacy journalism, challenges posed by and responses to technologies in the media industry. It differs from aggregation news elsewhere because of dynamic media environment in China. This ethnographic study closely analyzes manifestations of “un-news” churned out by digital aggregators who have to work under management of legacy print journalists and editors in a local Chinese press. The hierarchy of influences model is used to decompose the meanings and complexities of “un-news.” Fieldwork observations have confirmed our expectations that the hierarchy model remains structurally valid, although the content and meaning of influence have changed drastically within each level.


The objective of this study is to explore the challenges faced by the Indian apparel supply chain in the wake of COVID-19 to identify the factors that are being affected and build a multilevel hierarchy model to prioritize the factors and understand their inter-relationships. An intensive literature review was conducted and many experts from apparel supply chain were consulted. The study was conducted by the help of a survey sent to these experts from different echelons in the apparel industry. The data was then analysed using Total Interpretive Structural Modelling (TISM). The “Difficulty in export order fulfilment” factor is found to be the most sensitive factor which means that it is present in the TISM model hierarchy in a place that it is affected by most of the factors and in-turn impacts factors like operational cost, change in marketing strategy, change in consumer buying pattern, which impact Profitability and Cut-off in employment. “Cut-off in employment” is found to be most impacted by all other factors in TISM model.

It is increasingly important to reuse the wastewater conservancy facilities, which can further promote the development of agricultural economy. The basis of full investigation and research on the wastewater conservancy facilities in rural areas by using fuzzy mathematics method. This paper constructs a hierarchy model to evaluate the reuse value of wastewater conservancy facilities. The model conducts empirical research on the wastewater conservancy facilities in a certain farmland. The research results show that the transformation of abstract research into quantitative research, a scientific and reasonable practical research model, is established, which can evaluate the research object well. The comprehensive evaluation value of a certain farmland is 0.608. The wastewater conservancy facilities in the farmland are in good condition and can be repaired by reconstruction; some economic benefits are obtained.

The spatial orientations of 142,929 SDSS DR-13, z- magnitude galaxies having red shift 0.50 to 0.53 have been analyzed. The main goal of this work is to examine the orientation of the angular momentum of galaxies within the given redshift limit in the framework of three different scenarios 'Hierarchy model', 'Pancake model', and the 'Primordial vorticity model'.  By using Godlowskian transformation the two-dimensional data were converted into three-dimensional data (polar and azimuthal angles). The expected isotropy distribution curves were obtained by removing the selection effects and performing a random simulation to generate 107 virtual galaxies by using Matlab 2015a. Three statistical tests of Chi-square, autocorrelation, and Fourier were used to compare the expected isotropic data with observed. The data classified into nine subsamples having each of one magnitude size. In general, the results supported the Hierarchy model. The model advocates random orientations of angular. However, a local anisotropy observed in few subsamples suggested a gravitational tidal interaction between neighboring galaxies, an early-merging process in which the angular momentum vector distorts the initial alignment of nearby galaxies.

Periodic glaciation during the Quaternary period shaped the contemporary riverscape and distribution of freshwater fishes in the Mississippi River drainage of central North America. The rainbow darter (Etheostoma caeruleum) is a member of this ichthyofauna and has a disjunct distribution in glaciated and unglaciated environments west of the Mississippi River. The aim of this study was to utilize genome-wide SNP data to compare the population genomic structure of the rainbow darter in river networks with disparate glacial histories; the Volga River in the glaciated upper Mississippi River basin and the Meramec River in the unglaciated Ozark Plateau. Individuals were sampled from localities within each river system at distances dictated by the organismal life history and habitat preferences. Riverscape analyses were performed on three datasets: total combined localities of both rivers and one for each river independently. The results revealed a lasting influence of historic glaciation on the population genomic structure of rainbow darter populations. There was evidence of population expansion into the glaciated northern region following glacial retreat. The population genetic signature within the Volga River did not fit expectations of the stream hierarchy model, but revealed a pattern of repeated colonization and extirpation due to cyclic glaciation. The population within the unglaciated Meramec River adhered to the stream hierarchy model, with a directional order of genetic diversity based on the life history and habitat preferences of the species. These results demonstrate the necessity to consider the geologic and climatic history of a region as well as the life history of an organism when interpreting spatial genetic patterns.
