In the administrative archive of the Joaquim Nabuco Foundation, we find the administrative documentation of the Museu do Homem do Nordeste (Muhne) since its foundation in 1979. By exploring this documentation, it was possible to observe the set of education initiatives in museums developed by the Muhne team in the 1990s. We found copies of the plans and reports of the educational program called "Didactic Boxes" dating from 1996 and 1997. Consulting the project, the activity report, the printed material containing instructions for using the didactic boxes and the disclosure pamphlet and the photos of the activities we understand the characteristics of the activity. The analysis of this specific action allowed us to perceive the set of epistemological principles that guided the museum team in their educational actions in the 1990s. Keywords: Didactic Boxes. This paper is about issues in museum education, starting from the discussion: how to discuss about indigenous histories and cultures with young children in a museum? How has this subject been dealt with? The expographic gaps are here used as the main setting to think over methodologies that help to talk about these questions. We will seek ways to understand how indigenous cultures have been represented and which points of view may help us to widen the mediations targeted to a child audience. Therefore, based on authors that discuss childhood, education and museum education, we think about potential and essential overlaps between mediation, children, and indigenous cultures and histories. key words: Indigenous Histories and Cultures; Children; Museum Education

In this paper, I introduce part of my academic-activist trajectory from a biomitography (Lorde, 1984) of “escrevivências” (Evaristo, 2007). With that, I present the crossing of my own political practices linked to my research practices as a museum professional and Sociomuseology activist. By establishing an approximation of the New Museology movement, of LGBT Museology, as well as of a museology permeated by the (in) visibility of narratives, memories and cultural heritage claimed by sexually dissident black women, I intend to articulate a territory of epistemic dispute for the nomination of a Black Lesbian Museology. Palavras-chave: Biomitografia, Escrevivências, Sociomuseologia, Museologia LGBT, Museologia Lésbica Negra. Keywords: Biomitography, Escrivivências, Sociomuseology, LGBT Museology, Black Lesbian Museology.
