<p>The rare earth elements (REEs) are a group of seventeen metals including 15 lanthanides, scandium and yttrium.  These metals have been projected to be critical for future industrial development. However, India currently does not have any economic grade primary deposit of REEs; all of India’s production comes from monazite-bearing beach sands along the eastern and western coasts that have been derived from REEs-enriched continental rocks such as pegmatites or carbonatites. This contribution documents a GIS-based prospectivity model for exploration targeting of REE associated with carbonatites and alkaline-complexes in the geologically permissive tracts of NW India comprising parts of western Rajasthan and northern Gujarat. A mineral systems approach is applied to model the key ingredients of an REE system including geodynamic setting; fertile mantle/crustal sources of REEs; deep to shallow crustal architecture; and REE deposition.  This conceptual genetic model of REE mineral systems is, in turn, used to identify the key regional-scale REE-deposit targeting criteria in NW India. Regional-scale multi-parametric exploration datasets are processed to represent the targeting criteria in form of predictor GIS layers. Finally, an expert-driven fuzzy inference system is designed for delineating and raking prospective REE targets. Simultaneously, the stochastic and systemic uncertainties in the prospectivity modeling are modelled to delineated (a) high priority REE exploration targets areas with low uncertainty and high prospectivity for immediate ground follow up and (b) areas with high uncertainty and high prospectivity for further data acquisition in order to reduce uncertainty.</p>

In Part I of this series I, we looked back at the 20th century and re-examined the history of Motor Development research described in Clark & Whitall’s 1989 paper “What is Motor Development? The Lessons of History”. We now move to the 21st century, where the trajectories of developmental research have evolved in focus, branched in scope, and diverged into three new areas. These have progressed to be independent research areas, co-existing in time. We posit that the research focus on Dynamical Systems at the end of the 20th century has evolved into a Developmental Systems approach in the 21st century. Additionally, the focus on brain imaging and the neural basis of movement have resulted in a new approach, which we entitled Developmental Motor Neuroscience. Finally, as the world-wide obesity epidemic identified in the 1990s threatened to become a public health crisis, researchers in the field responded by examining the role of motor development in physical activity and health-related outcomes; we refer to this research area as the Developmental Health approach. The glue that holds these research areas together is their focus on movement behavior as it changes across the lifespan.

Subject. This article deals with the issues of implementation of digital transformation of enterprises in order to improve their core competitiveness and achieve high rates of development. Objectives. The article aims to analyze and assess the baseline conditions and opportunities for the digital transformation of natural resources sector enterprises. Methods. For the study, we used analytical, quantitative, and expert assessment methods and techniques, and the systems approach. Results. Based on a comparative analysis of the digital infrastructures of Russian natural resources sector enterprises and Chinese industrial sector enterprises, the article reveals a significant lag between Russian and Chinese enterprises in terms of IT-technology, -network, and special software supplying and upgrading. The article emphasizes the importance of training highly qualified natural resources management experts and specialists that have new information and network skills and competencies. Conclusions. The next-generation model of industrial development based on the comprehensive application of next-generation digital technologies, contributes to the creation of a digital world that is changing conventional management and business models. The necessary business management software should primarily be based on home-grown products to manage production in the natural resources sector, rather than on the software used in other economies.

This study aims to obtain the best location of the target area of agro-industrial development of bioenergy in the supply chain. Through a systems approach, using fuzzy TOPSIS, an analysis of various key criteria was conducted, including availability of raw materials, land conditions and prices, the ease of access to transportation, the distance to the city center, the availability of labor at the target location, availability of infrastructure – such as water and electricity, the use of the location and orientation of multiplier effect. Based on the results of the analysis that has been done, from the five areas being targeted for locations of bioenergy agro-industry development in the province of Riau, including Industrial Area Kuala Enok; Palm Oil Region in Rokan Hulu; Pelintung Dumai Industrial Area; Palm Oil Region in Bagan Batu Rokan Hilir and Teknopolitan Region in Pelalawan, the one that has been voted the best location is Pelintung Dumai Industrial Area. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh lokasi terbaik yang menjadi target kawasan pengembangan agroindustri bioenergi dalam satu mata rantai pasokan. Melalui pendekatan sistem, dengan menggunakan metode fuzzy TOPSIS, dilakukan analisis terhadap berbagai kriteria penting diantaranya ketersediaan bahan baku, kondisi lahan dan harga, kemudahan akses transportasi, jarak lokasi dengan pusat kota, ketersediaan tenaga kerja pada lokasi sasaran, ketersediaan infrastruktur seperti air dan listrik, orientasi pemanfaatan lokasi serta multiflier effect.  Berdasarakan hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan, dari lima target kawasan yang menjadi sasaran lokasi pengembangan agroindustri bioenergi di Provinsi Riau, diantaranya Kawasan Industri Kuala Enok, Kawasan Perkebunan Kelapa Sawit di Rokan Hulu, Kawasan Industri Pelintung Dumai, Kawasan Perkebunan Kelapa Sawit di Bagan Batu Rokan Hilir dan Kawasan Teknopolitan di Kabupaten Pelalawan, telah terpilih lokasi terbaik, yakni di Kawasan Industri Pelintung Dumai

Abstract Sociocultural developmental psychology can drive new directions in gadgetry science. We use autobiographical memory, a compound capacity incorporating episodic memory, as a case study. Autobiographical memory emerges late in development, supported by interactions with parents. Intervention research highlights the causal influence of these interactions, whereas cross-cultural research demonstrates culturally determined diversity. Different patterns of inheritance are discussed.
