A dairy cattle farm in Liuying, Tainan on 29 June 2015. The two-month-old calves in the farm were found with opisthotonus, lameness, paralysis and ataxia. The morbidity is approximately 1.1% and the mortality is 0%. In gross lesions, flat gyri, shallow sulci and meningeal vascular engorgement were seen. Histopathological examinations revealed non-suppurative lymphohistocytic encephalomyelitis and pachymeningitis with hemorrhage, lymphohistocytic perivascular cuffing, microgliosis and demyelination. Nucleic acid was extracted from Spinal cord, then amplified by reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction. A 709-base pair amplification product of S segments was detected and showed 99.9% homology to Akabane virus by nucleotide sequencing. Thus, according to the laboratory examination and analysis of the results, this case diagnosed with Akabane disease in dairy cattle.

Genetic variety examination has demonstrated fundamental to the understanding of the epidemiological and developmental history of Papillomavirus (HPV), for the development of accurate diagnostic tests and for efficient vaccine design. The HPV nucleotide diversity has been investigated widely among high-risk HPV types. To make the nucleotide sequence of HPV and do the virus database in Thi-Qar province, and compare sequences of our isolates with previously described isolates from around the world and then draw its phylogenetic tree, this study done. A total of 6 breast formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) of the female patients were included in the study, divided as 4 FFPE malignant tumor and 2 FFPE of benign tumor. The PCR technique was implemented to detect the presence of HPV in breast tissue, and the real-time PCR used to determinant HPV genotypes, then determined a complete nucleotide sequence of HPV of L1 capsid gene, and draw its phylogenetic tree. The nucleotide sequencing finding detects a number of substitution mutation (SNPs) in (L1) gene, which have not been designated before, were identified once in this study population, and revealed that the HPV16 strains have the evolutionary relationship with the South African race, while, the HPV33 and HPV6 showing the evolutionary association with the North American and East Asian race, respectively.

: The content and the application of pharmaceutical dosage forms must meet several basic requirements to ensure and maintain efficiency, safety and quality. A large number of active substances have limited ability to direct administration. Excipients are generally used to overcome the limitation of direct administration of these active substances. However, the function, behavior and composition of the excipients need to be well known in the design, development and production of pharmaceutical dosage forms. In this review, excipients used to assist in any pharmaceutical dosage form production processes of drugs, to preserve, promote or increase stability, bioavailability and patient compliance, to assist in product identification / separation, or to enhance overall safety and effectiveness of the drug delivery system during storage or use are explained. Moreover, the use of these excipients in drug delivery systems are identified. Excipient toxicity, which is an issue discussed in the light of current studies, also discussed in this review.
