Summary Background: Insulin dosing in hospitalized pediatric patients is challenging and requires dosing to be matched with the specific clinical and nutritional circumstances. We implemented a customized subcutaneous insulin bolus dose calculator tool integrated with the electronic health record to improve patient care. Here we describe this tool, its utilization and safety, and assess user satisfaction and perceptions of the tool. Methods: Blood glucose results for all patients who received insulin with and without the calculator tool were compared to assess safety. To assess user perceptions and satisfaction, a survey was sent to all identified users who interacted with the tool during the period from May 2015 to the end of November 2015. Survey responses were summarized, mean user satisfaction calculated, and correlation of Likert scale items with overall satisfaction assessed. Results: Hypoglycemia rates (2.2% and 2.9%, p = 0.17) and severe hypoglycemia rates (0.04% and 0.1%, p = 0.21) were similar for the groups that received insulin with and without the calculator tool. Overall satisfaction for all survey respondents was high (4.05, SD = 0.83). Physicians indicated a slightly higher satisfaction than nurses (4.33 versus 3.94, p = 0.04). User agreement with improvement of quality of care showed the highest correlation with overall satisfaction (r = 0.80, 95% CI 0.7 –0.87). Conclusion: Implementation of an insulin calculator tool streamlined ordering and administration of insulin in a pediatric academic institution while maintaining patient safety. Users indicated high overall satisfaction with the tool. Citation: Ateya MB, Aiyagari R, Moran C, Singer K. .:Insulin bolus calculator in a pediatric hospital: Safety and user perceptions. © 2021, Association for Educational Communications and Technology. In order to effectively use technology in education, appropriate conceptual understandings are needed to guide the integration process. Today, there is a wide range of conceptual models that are developed and used in research and/or practice focusing on educational technology integration. Conceptual models are of relevance as they can bridge theory with practical applications. Today, there are a wide range of conceptual models are developed and used in research and/or practice focusing on educational technology integration. These models can be seen as simplified versions of theories for practical application or as condensed wisdoms of practice that need to be further investigated theoretically and empirically. However, there is insufficient agreement on the dimensions and criteria used to judge the quality of conceptual models in educational technology. Therefore, the main goals of this article are to: (1) develop criteria to assess the quality and scope of conceptual models and (2) identify and compare exemplary models for technology integration in educational settings along with these quality criteria. The resulting five criteria from this investigation provide the means to effectively evaluate the quality and scope of conceptual models focused on technology integration while providing additional insight into applying these models in research and practice.

PT PLN (Persero) West Java Development Main Unit (UIPJBB) has used an information system to make it easier for employees to access information and personnel activities such as attendance, leave, CV, information on the stages of requesting an Official Travel Letter (SPPD), and other related information. with staffing by using a web called Employee Self Service (ESS). The quality of ESS web services has never been measured based on user perceptions and levels of importance or expectations. This study intends to analyze the quality of the ESS web using WebQual 4.0 as a questionnaire consisting of three dimensions in the form of Usability, Information Quality, and Service Interaction dimensions, as well as using the IPA method to analyze the level of conformity, compliance (GAP), and quadrants. The results of the level of conformity obtained from 22 statements were still below 100%. The test result statistic shows Asymp.Sig. (2-tailed) worth 0,000 means that there is a gap between Importance and Performance on the ESS website of PT PLN (Persero) UIPJBB. The average of the overall level of conformity is obtained 93.53%, which means that the performance on the web ESS is still below Importance and users are still not satisfied. While the results of GAP analysis are -0.262 <0, then the quality of performance is still lacking and cannot meet the interests of users.

Tokome.id is an e-commerce company that provides merchandise manufacturing services by sending a design image of the product that we want to buy or sell. The purpose of this research is to measure the quality of the website owned by Tokome.id. To see the quality of a website, it is necessary to measure based on the quality based on the users using Webqual 4.0 method which consists of 3 variables (usability, information quality, service interaction quality), and 22 question indicators. The technique used by researchers is Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method which provides an overview of what indicators need improvement or needs to maintain their quality based on user perceptions and expectations. Based on the results of the analysis of Importance Performance Analysis (IPA), it shows that the 22 items analyzed using the importance-performance analysis method are divided into quadrant I (8 items), quadrant II (6 items), quadrant III ( 5 items), and quadrant IV (3 items). Items that are considered very important and need to be improved are in quadrant I, namely the sense of data or information security when accessing the website. These outcome show that the quality of the Tokome. id website is still lacking and has not met user expectations.
