A supply chain is a network of suppliers, factories, warehouses, distribution centers and retailers, through which raw materials are acquired, transformed, produced and delivered to the customer. An effective and efficient way of managing this network is called a supply chain management system. The authors’ purpose here is to design a capable electronic supply chain system in an electronic market. The authors consider a supply chain composed of supplier, plant, and customer. The aim is to optimize a real time web-based fuzzy order-delivery system for which customer satisfaction is emphasized. As such, a comprehensive web-based order-delivery system in an electronic market is proposed and optimized applying fuzzy mathematical programming.

Enterprise-level energy delivery systems (EDSs) depend on different software or hardware vendors to achieve operational efficiency. Critical components of these systems are typically manufactured and integrated by overseas suppliers, which expands the attack surface to adversaries with additional opportunities to infiltrate into EDSs. Due to this reason, the risk management of the EDS supply chain is crucial to ensure that we are knowledgeable about the vulnerabilities in software and hardware components that comprise any critical part, quantifiable risk metrics to assess the severity and exploitability of the attack, and provide remediation solutions that can influence a prioritized mitigation plan. There is a need to realize cyber supply chain risk management for industrial control systems’ hardware, software, and computing and networking services associated with bulk electric system (BES) operations. This article proposes a blockchain-based cyber supply chain provenance platform (“Vind”) for EDSs to realize data provenance in a cyber supply chain ecosystem.

The paper presents the theoretical and experimental study results on construction sustainable urban supply chain, namely last mile delivery. Within the theoretical part we proposed to estimate the necessary number of local depots within the supply chain taking into account the direct and indirect impacts from a delivery system functioning. The indirect effect is presented with CO2 emissions. The conducted experiment has covered the pes-simistic and optimistic scenarios for delivery system states. Within the experiment along with demand attributes we assessed the range of vehicle carrying capacity from 0.5 to 2 tons. The obtained experimental results revealed the shift in necessary local depots number to guarantee the sustainable effect for delivery system and promote liveable state for the urban area.

AbstractA comprehensive theoretical investigation validated by the measurement is necessary to assess the impact of a microgrid on the electric distribution system. Some key parameters worth investigating are- enhancing economy, reliability, quality, and resiliency of a microgrid. Considering this necessity, a study of energy delivery system in a microgrid and its financial feasibility to integrate into the energy infrastructure has been presented in this paper. A campus microgrid with energy-efficient combined heat and power (CHP) natural gas-fired microturbine and photovoltaic generation has been used as a testbed to evaluate the efficiency of the power delivery. With distributed control and communication capability, this microgrid can be considered as a building block of smart grid that facilitates the inclusion of renewable and energy-efficient distributed generation. Simulation work has been performed to study the economic feasibility to integrate such microgrid into the energy grid. Several cases of remote microgrid operation have been studied to compare the best possible solution.
