This paper develops a fuzzy two-layer supply chain for manufacturer and retailer with defective and non-defective types of products. The manufacturer produces up to a specific time, including faulty and non-defective items, and after the screening, the non-defective item sends to the retailer. The retailer’s strategy is to do the screening of items received from the manufacturer; subsequently, the perfect quality items are used to fulfill the customer’s demand, and the defective items are reworked. The retailer considers that customer demand is time and reliability dependent. The supply chain considers probabilistic deterioration for the manufacturer and retailers along with the strategies such as production rate, unit production cost, cost of idle time of manufacturer, screening, rework, etc. The optimum average profit of the integrated model is evaluated for both the cases crisp and fuzzy environments. Managerial insights and the effect of changes in the parameters’ values on the optimal inventory policy under fuzziness are presented.

Balancing a production line means to organize the activity of the human operators, to establish the production flux and designing the line, minimizing the idle time for the machines and the operators, through an optimal charge bestowed upon them. WinQSB software offers three methods of solving this type of problem, namely: heuristic techniques (a basic method is specified and an alternative one from all the available ones), Optimizing Best Bud Search and Computer Method of Sequencing Operations for Assembly Lines, presented all in the present paper.

In this paper, on-road CO, THC, NOX, CO2 gaseous emissions characteristics of china IV CNG bus were analyzed based on on-road vehicle emission test in the peak and non-peak hours of city traffic in Shanghai using a portable emission measurement system (PEMS). The experimental results reveal that: compared with the condition results in the non-peak hours, it (conditions in the peak hours) have lower average speed, longer idle time and shorter high speed time; the NOX emission factor and rate in the peak hour reduced by 5.66% and 70.2%; the CO, HC, CO2 emissions factors are increased by 47.2%, 32.6%, 20.8%, and the CO, HC, CO2 emissions rates reduced by 1.94%, 26.5%, 48.7% respectively, compared with that in the non-peak hours; The CO, HC, NOX, CO2 emissions factors all decreased as bus speed increased, while they increased as bus acceleration increased; the gaseous emissions rates all increased as bus speed increased; both the emissions factors and emissions rates contributions are highest at accelerations, higher at cruise speeds, and the lowest at decelerations for non-idling buses; the emissions rates under the condition of idling is lowest; gaseous emissions contribution under the various operating conditions has displayed certain correlations with the percentage of the time for different operating conditions.

During this pandemic, social media has become a major need as a means of communication. One of the social medias used is Twitter by using messages referred to as tweets. Indonesia currently undergoing mass social distancing. During this time most people use social media in order to spend their idle time However, sometimes, this result in negative sentiment that used to insult and aimed at an individual or group. To filter that kind of tweets, a sentiment analysis was performed with SVM and 3 different kernel method. Tweets are labelled into 3 classes of positive, neutral, and negative. The experiments are conducted to determine which kernel is better. From the sentiment analysis that has been performed, SVM linear kernel yield the best score Some experiments show that the precision of linear kernel is 57%, recall is 50%, and f-measure is 44%

<p>The need of the geodetic VLBI stations in South Asia region has been discussed and suggested for decades to have a uniform global VLBI network and relatively more accurate realisation of ITRF. With the recent initiative of National Centre for Geodesy, India, setting up of a few VLBI stations in the country is being proposed. India spans from latitude 8.4º N to 37.6º N and longitude 68.7º E to 97.25º E and encompasses a diversified topography with a plethora of geodynamical activities. Along with contributions to the international geodetic campaigns, we would like to choose the locations of these VGOS stations so that these can be an aid to the Indian geodetic infrastructure along with several other studies of national importance. For multitude of reasons, the prospective sites for establishing VGOS stations in India are: 1) IIST Ponmudi campus, 2) Mt. Abu Observatory, PRL, 3) IIT Kanpur and 4) NE-SAC, Shillong. The approximate longitudinal extent of 20º and latitudinal extent of 18º between these prospective sites are worth exploiting for determining the angle of the Earth rotation (dUT1) and polar motion, respectively. In this study, we present the comparison results of the solutions with and without additional VGOS station in India. For this, we first generated an optimised schedule for a classical VGOS/R1 session, using VieVS, with existing stations using the comparatively more important optimisation criteria (duration, sky-coverage, number of observations and idle time) and corresponding weight factors. The simulation result of the best schedule is kept as our reference solution. With respect to this reference network, we further generated optimised schedules by including the prospective stations from India (different combinations of the four proposed stations). We present our analysis due to change in network geometry, and therefore, we compare the variations in the repeatability values of the estimated EOPs with the addition of VGOS station(s) in India.</p>
