The diagnosis process is the first step to knowing a type of disease. This type of disease caused by mosquitoes is one of the major viruses (MAVY), dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) and malaria. Sometimes not everyone can find the virus that is carried by this mosquito, usually children who are susceptible to this virus because the immune system that has not been built perfectly is perfect. To know for sure which virus is infected by mosquitoes, it can diagnose by seeing symptoms perceived symptoms. Expert systems are one of the most used artificial intelligence techniques today because expert systems can act as consultations. In this case the authors make a system to start a diagnosis process with variable centered intelligent rule system (VCIRS) methods through perceived symptoms. With the facilities provided for users and administrators, allowing both users and administrators to use this system according to their individual needs. This expert system is made with the Microsoft Visual Basic 2008 programming language. Keywords: Expert System, Mayora Virus, Variable Centered Intelligent Rule System (VCIRS)The diagnosis process is the first step to knowing a type of disease. Background: Text summarization is the process of generating a short description of the entire document which is more difficult to read. This method provides a convenient way of extracting the most useful information and a short summary of the documents. In the existing research work, this is focused by introducing the Fuzzy Rule-based Automated Summarization Method (FRASM). Existing work tends to have various limitations which might limit its applicability to the various real-world applications. The existing method is only suitable for the single document summarization where various applications such as research industries tend to summarize information from multiple documents. Methods: This paper proposed Multi-document Automated Summarization Method (MDASM) to introduce the summarization framework which would result in the accurate summarized outcome from the multiple documents. In this work, multi-document summarization is performed whereas in the existing system only single document summarization was performed. Initially document clustering is performed using modified k means cluster algorithm to group the similar kind of documents that provides the same meaning. This is identified by measuring the frequent term measurement. After clustering, pre-processing is performed by introducing the Hybrid TF-IDF and Singular value decomposition technique which would eliminate the irrelevant content and would result in the required content. Then sentence measurement is one by introducing the additional metrics namely Title measurement in addition to the existing work metrics to accurately retrieve the sentences with more similarity. Finally, a fuzzy rule system is applied to perform text summarization. Results: The overall evaluation of the research work is conducted in the MatLab simulation environment from which it is proved that the proposed research method ensures the optimal outcome than the existing research method in terms of accurate summarization. MDASM produces 89.28% increased accuracy, 89.28% increased precision, 89.36% increased recall value and 70% increased the f-measure value which performs better than FRASM. Conclusion: The summarization processes carried out in this work provides the accurate summarized outcome.

Abstract In this paper we present our experience from the use of two different expert system development environments to Wire-EDM CAD/CAM knowledge based application. The two systems used follow two different AI approaches: the one is based on the constraint propagation theory and provides a natural language oriented programming environment, while the other is a production rule system with backward-forward chaining mechanisms and a conventional-like programming style. Our experience showed that the natural language programming style offers an easier and more productive environment for knowledge based CAD/CAM systems development.

SWRL: Rule Acquisition Using Ontology Nowadays rule-based systems are very common. The use of ontology-based systems is becoming ever more popular, especially in addition to the rule-based one. The most widely used ontology development platform is Protégé. Protégé provides a knowledge acquisition tool, but still the main issue of the ontology-based rule system is rule acquisition. This paper presents an approach to using SWRL rules Tab, a plug-in to Protégé, for rule acquisition. SWRL rules Tab transforms conjunctive rules to Jess rules in IF…THEN form.

The role of information became more important due to rapidly changing technical conditions, market and economic regulations in our globalizing world. Several regulations tend to provide the framework for reporting performance and income of the companies, but in different statements performance is inconsistently presented and many kind of evaluation method exist in the practice. These facts led to the demand of properly assess the financial health of an organization, and created a commonly accepted rule-system, which name was International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). In this paper I tend to present the statements, definitions and factors, which can have great influence in representing the performance, income of the company in the frame of the IFRS, and reveal the differences between the other accounting regulations (EU directives, Hungarian Accounting Act) in this field.

AbstractAn automated system for the diagnosis of lung cancer is proposed in this paper, the system is designed by combining two major methodologies, namely the fuzzy base systems and the evolutionary genetic algorithms (GAs), to be employed on lung cancer data to assist physicians in the early detection of lung cancers, and hence obtain an early automated diagnosis complementary to that by physicians. Our hybrid algorithm, the genetic-fuzzy algorithm, has produced optimized diagnosis systems that attain high classification performance, in fact, our best six rule system obtained a 97.5 % accuracy, with simple and well interpretive rules, with 93 % degree of confidence, and without the need for dimensionality reduction. The results on real data indicate that the proposed system is very effective in the diagnosis of lung cancer and can be used for clinical applications.
