Prediction of the forces in milling hypoid gear was often needed in order to establish automation and optimization of the tooth-milling processes. Based on the geometrical theory of the format face-milling, the multi-toothed milling forces theoretical model for form milling the gear of the hypoid gears is presented, the milling force factors were calibrated via single factor experiments and the simulation programs were prepared. Experiments were carried out to verify the availability of the multi-toothed dynamic milling force model, the experimental results is consistent with the simulation results.

In this paper, the electrical transient mode of synchronous generators is studied, four different simulation model of synchronous generator on sudden short circuit was built, various physical quantities were studied by simulation during the short circuit. By comparing theoretics with simulation, various physical quantities of synchronous generator produced tremendous impact and surge during the sudden circuit and they stabilized in the proceeding state of short circuit. Thoroughly simulation analyzed, the results of simulation are identical with theoretical analysis. The simulation results show that these influence factors should be considered when we design the relay protections.

In this paper, an electromagnetic design method for a novel DC Lorentz Motor for micromanipulation is described. To optimize permanent magnet (PM) array and minimize the magnetic field coupling among PMs, the distribution of magnetic field and the fluctuation of Lorentz force are obtained by the 3D finite-element method (FEM). Through the electromagnetic analysis, an optimized distribution and shape of PMs are found. Finally, the optimized DC Lorentz motor is manufactured. These simulation results are verified by those of the experiment results, which presents the finite element model and simulation results are reasonable.

Economic Dispatch (ED) is one of the optimization issues for improving the economic benefit of power plants. According to the framework of Mind Evolutionary Algorithm, we proposed a new developed Dynamic Mind Evolutionary Algorithm (DMEA) to solve the ED problem. Specifically, the economic model in power plants was built firstly. Secondly, an individual evaluation function is presented. Thirdly, simplex method was used to search the extreme value of each sub-group. Then, sub-groups are separated at the step similartaxis operator, while the sub-groups with the same extreme value are assembled at the step dissimilation operator, so that the extreme value of each local space can be found efficiently. Ultimately, it can avoid repeated search for the same space due to the record of the searched area. Including DMEA, three different methods were compared under the same illustration. The simulation results demonstrate the effect of DMEA.

Lightweight, flexible motion simulation is the demand of airborne laser communication optical transceive when apply to outside test. A new parallel 2_DOF platform that has the function of azimuth and pitching is put forword based on the analysis of airplane position-pose changes affect the performance airborne laster communication APT system, and the kinematics model is established by using closed-loop vector method. Kinematics model is right through the comparison of mathematical model and simulation results of ADAMS, which provides the reference and basis for the design of control system.

A new-type energy-recovering hydraulic workover rig is researched. The basic structure and working theory of this rig are introduced. This rig decreases its equipped power remarkably compared with the conventional rig, and can recover the potential energy released by the tubing string when lowered. With infinite force-grade number, this rig can obtain the maximum lifting efficiency and energy-recovering rate. The dynamics model of lifting the tubing string is deduced and a simulation analysis is conducted. Through simulation some conclusions are obtained: (1) the greater the throttle valve path area the higher the tubing string lifting velocity, (2) the lighter the tubing string the higher the tubing string lifting velocity, and (3) the greater the displacement of the variable pump motor the higher the tubing string lifting velocity. The actual measurement results prove that the dynamics model and simulation results are basically right.
