The application of constructive geometric modeling to pedagogical models of teaching graphic disciplines today is a promising direction for using computer technology in the educational process of educational institutions. The essence of the method of constructive geometric modeling is to represent any operation performed on geometric objects in the form of a transformation, as a result of which some constructive connection is established, and the transformation itself can be considered as a result of the action of an abstract cybernetic device. Constructive geometric modeling is a popular information tool for information processing in various applied areas, however, this tool cannot be appreciated without the presence of appropriate software systems and developed design techniques. Traditionally, constructive geometric modeling is used in the design of mechanical engineering, energy, aircraft and shipbuilding facilities, in architectural and design engineering. The need to study descriptive geometry at the university in recent years has something in common with the issues of mastering graphic packages of computer programs in the framework of the new discipline "Engineering and Computer Graphics". The well-known KOMPAS software product is considered the simplest and most attractive for training. It should be noted the important role of graphic packages in the teaching of geometric disciplines that require a figurative perception of the material by students. Against the background of a reduction in classroom hours, computer graphics packages are practically the only productive teaching methodology, successfully replacing traditional tools - chalk and blackboard.

Just about everything changes, and so should a software quality model in order to provide a better understanding of quality for any software product to which is applied. But how can we develop such a software quality model? A software quality model pattern that can be adapted to different software products, and provide an accurate evaluation of the overall software quality. This paper presents an adaptable software quality model which is intended to be used for the quality evaluation of different software products.

High software reliability is an important attribute of high-assurance systems. Software quality models yield timely predictions of quality indicators on a module-by-module basis, enabling one to focus on finding faults early in development. This paper introduces the Classification And Regression Trees (CART) a algorithm to practitioners in high-assurance systems engineering. This paper presents practical lessons learned on building classification trees for software quality modeling, including an innovative way to control the balance between misclassification rates. A case study of a very large telecommunications system used CART to build software quality models. The models predicted whether or not modules would have faults discovered by customers, based on various sets of software product and process metrics as independent variables. We found that a model based on two software product metrics had comparable accuracy to a model based on forty product and process metrics.

Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) is a new approach to optimize the use of Information Technology (IT) devices to carry out their work task. The study of BYOD is focused on work activities that perform by IT worker using IT device in public sector. Work activities can provide important insights into IT device portfolio development, end-user segmentation process and the role of IT workers in public sector. The propose of this study is to explore work process of bringing your own devices to support green computing. A conceptual framework of BYOD work process in public sector through integration of IT devices and end-user segmentation to support green computing was developed based on systematic literature review to highlight the implementation of BYOD. This framework considers that work activities based on IT worker, IT device portfolio and end-user segmentation are the main key for public sector to support green computing. This framework is an initial research for researchers and practitioners to further examine BYOD practices in public sector. In addition, to highlight an important gap, this paper explains how different work activities using different IT device influence the IT worker to select the suitable IT device for BYOD that support green computing.

The role of software inspections, product reviews, walk-troughs, and audits in ERP software is analyzed in this chapter. Software inspections are a disciplined engineering practice for detecting and correcting defects in software artifacts with the aim of correcting them. Walkthroughs involve software peer review mechanism in which a programmer leads peers through a software product, in a process in which participants ask questions and make comments about possible errors, violation of development standards, and other problems. This chapter also discusses ERP systems audit and control risks and seeks to help understand key risks and control issues surrounding ERP systems.
