Yoga Farm is a Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) that focuses on catfish breeding that is still doing business processes manually. With this process, information received by related parties is very difficult to obtain quickly. Therefore, the product is still not widely known, and customers are still few because the system used in sales and promotions still uses a manual system. The research method used is qualitative. This study aims to create a sales information system recommended at Yoga Farm and design using Unified modeling language (UML) for the recommended business processes. Customers will get product information in real-time, products can be widely recognized, and the number of Yoga Farm customers can increase. Based on the results of this study, adoption of a web-based sales information system can certainly make it easier to get the latest information quickly, can expand the market and can also facilitate customers in the transaction. For future research, this research can be used as a reference for conducting similar studies at other MSMEs to increase sales

Sales System at H2H Couple Fashion today still use manual and very simple. Buyers must come directly so as not effective and efficient. Means of promotion there is inadequate so poorly known, it is harder to obtain for potential buyers. With the establishment of an online sales system web-based  is expected to provide ease of transaction as well as a means of effective and efficient promotion with a wide range of markets and provide satisfaction to customers thereby increasing profits for the company. Design, code creation, testing and support. by using a modeling tool such as a unified Modeling Language (UML), Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) and data collection techniques by observation, and interviews. While the database application development tools using MySQL and PHPMyAdmin and PHP programming language, Adobe Dreamweaver CS6 text editor. This application provides product information and generate reports including product reports and sales reports.

This article presents the knowledge-oriented information visualization (KIV) approach to facilitating the utilization of building rating systems at post-assessment stage. The KIV approach is introduced by using a Web-based decision support model. The model consists of several toolkits, including a case base of intelligent buildings to support the application of sustainable technologies, a Web-oriented information visualization toolkit for intelligent buildings assessment, and a geographical information system (GIS) toolkit for knowledge reuse in buildings variations. A case study is used to demonstrate how the KIV approach can be applied to support decision making at the post-assessment stage of intelligent buildings.

The WWW, for better or worse, has forever changed the way retailers do business nowadays. E-shoppers, who become more sophisticated and mature nowadays, are demanding increased flexibility and intelligent aids in accessing product information, making purchasing decisions, and obtaining e-services (Anupam, Hull, & Kumar, 2001; Chen, Gillenson, & Sherrell, 2004). The Internet facilitates interactive selling approaches, whereby product offerings can be tailored to individual preferences. It allows e-shoppers to easily gather, retrieve, and analyze product information. Ultimately, the Web offers the ideal vehicle for delivering intelligent online support tools directly to customers (Grenci & Todd, 2002). Unfortunately, most e-commerce sites are rarely aware of taking advantage of such Internet-driven customer aid. Rapid advancements in Internet technology have offered a solution of Web-based customer decision support system (WCDSS) that can improve transactional efficiency by providing tailored merchandising information, offering sales support and consultation, facilitating sales promotion and advertising, and enhancing the consistency, availability and quality of online support to e-shoppers (O’Keefe & Mceachern, 1998). As the WCDSS aims to empower e-shoppers by enabling them to make informed decisions online, the question of how they would perceive such support arises. In this article, we aim to establish a theory-founded framework to understand and explain e-shoppers’ perceptions of the proposed WCDSS functions. We look at the key features of WCDSS functions that may have impact on e-shopper’s perceptions, and how to scale and analyze e-shoppers’ perceptions regarding specific functions. The specific objectives are threefold. We aim (a) to verify the role WCDSS can play in facilitating e-shoppers, (b) to identify the key issues that impact e-shoppers’ perceptions of WCDSS, and (c) to suggest ways in designing and improving WCDSS functions and interfaces.

This chapter addresses an ongoing work strategy for developing and sharing knowledge related to digital/ Web-based technology and multimedia tools, information visualization, computer graphics, desktop virtual reality techniques in combination with art/education. It includes a large body of research about advanced and contemporary technologies and their use for stimulating individuals’ education. These interactive processes of researching, developing and sharing knowledge have been carried out through interdisciplinary and collaborative learning and teaching experiences in the context of k-12 education in a primary public school and its surrounding community. The learning and direct manipulation of advanced and contemporary technologies have improved individuals’ technical skills, stimulated cooperative and collaborative work and innovations in the way of developing school’s curriculum content as well as supported ones’ independent learning. Furthermore, there have been changes on individuals’ mental models, behavior and cultural changes related to reflecting about diverse possibilities of using information and communication technology within collaborative formal and informal sustainable lifelong learning and teaching actions.

The timely availability and quality of building product information is critical prerequisite for a successful building delivery process. However, little is known about the processes by which stakeholders acquire and use such data. This contribution documents the results of recent relevant surveys, addressing the building product data processing by planers, clients, and the industry. Web questionnaires and interviews with opinion leaders were conducted. Altogether, over 100 participants provided pertinent insights regarding strengths and weaknesses of the current data representation practices. A comparison of the obtained data with that of an earlier study allows for the documentation of the evolutionary trends in web-based data provision. Most importantly, the results facilitate the formulation of strategies for a more effective presentation and distribution of building product data.
