This paper presents theoretical comments on the “Taiyuan’s Urban Master Planning (2010-2020)” mainly in the aspects of the city's orientation, functions, urban transportation and eco-environmental planning. It can be seen that the master planning have a new scientific orientation of the city of Taiyuan by perceiving it as “a historic ancient capital of culture"; sufficient attention is paid to the relocation, renovation and update of TISCO, TCIGO and other heavy chemical companies; the newly designed urban public transit passenger transport organization mode is utilized to settle the increasingly prominent urban transport problems; tourism development is promoted under the premise of the protection of ecological environment as well as historical and cultural heritages; a number of shortcomings and recommendations for improvement are also proposed, trying to provide decision-making references for further adjustments and improvements of Taiyuan’s urban planning.

To compare the proportion of container rail-sea intermodal transportation in container transportation at home and abroad, this paper analyzed the reasons of container rail-sea intermodal transportation development was relative lag in China were mainly shown on that trunk railway transport capacity was in shortage, the connection between ports and railway lines weren’t close, railway tariff mechanism was irrational, ports and railway stations were lacking in information sharing, and operation organization mode was imperfect, etc. In order to seek highly effective and economical modes of container rail-sea intermodal transportation and strive to develop the significant advantages of railway freight transport compared with other transport modes, in view of the above problems this paper proceeds from the railway transport organization and puts forward several programs, e.g. establish sea-rail intermodal transport channels, improve cargo sources organization, construct rail-port through transport mode and the passengerized transport organizing of container train, etc.

Maternalnutrition during pregnancy affects the health of the mother and baby. The objective of this paper is to describe the maternal nutrition education offered by midwives to women attending an antenatal clinic. The study also examined the resources, support, and the needs of the midwives in offering the nutrition education. Six in-depth interviews with the midwives, six direct structured observations of the group education, and 12 one-on-one interactions of midwife and pregnant women observations were completed. The interviews and field observation notes were typed and analyzed using the latent content analysis. The emerging themes were the maternal nutrition education and the education needs of the midwives. The content and presentation of maternal nutrition were inadequate in scope and depth. The maternal nutrition education was offered to only pregnant women attending the first antenatal care visit. The routine antenatal education session lasted 45 minutes to 1 hour, covering a variety of topics, but the nutritional component was allotted minimal time (5–15 minutes). The organization, mode of delivery, guidelines, resources, and service environment were extremely deficient. The relevance of appropriate weight gain during pregnancy, guidelines for healthy habits, avoidance of substance abuse, and nutrition precautions in special circumstances was missing in the nutrition presentation. Information, maternal nutrition education resources, infrastructure, and health system gaps were identified. There was an inefficient nutrition education offered to the pregnant women attending the antenatal clinic. As means of promoting effective nutrition education, appropriate in-service training, mentorship, and support for the midwives are needed, as well as infrastructural and resource provision.

Based on analyzing the principle of BP neural network and time sequence characteristics of railway passenger flow, the forecast model of railway short-term passenger flow based on BP neural network was established. This paper mainly researches on fluctuation characteristics and short-time forecast of holiday passenger flow. Through analysis of passenger flow and then be used in passenger flow forecasting in order to guide the transport organization program especially the train plan of extra passenger train. And the result shows the forecast model based on BP neural network has a good effect on railway passenger flow prediction.
