In this study, a basic study was performed to analyze the seasonal temperature status of a research room in the Global Environment Research Building, where ceiling-embedded indoor units are installed to study the room temperature status of the building, as well as to improve its thermal environment. In addition, a direction for improvement of the indoor thermal environment in the winter was proposed through a CFD (computational fluid dynamics) simulation and was proven by an additional experiment. Through the results of this study, it appeared that if the ceiling-embedded indoor unit was installed in the small indoor space without considering the thermal vulnerability of its perimeter boundary, the air temperature of the upper part was greatly different from that of the bottom part in the winter. Based on the PMV measurement result, the case that used both FCUs and convectors showed 1.33, the biggest maximum and minimum difference, and the case that used all FCUs, convectors and circulating fans showed 0.68, the smallest maximum and minimum difference. Therefore, it was considered that the operating method suggested in the room used in this study would improve not only the temperature stratification but also the thermal comfort. Hence, in this study, as a means to improve the stratification, convectors were installed to minimize the effect of the external thermal environment, and angle-controllable air flowing fans were installed to mitigate the stratification distribution. With such a result, it was intended to present essential data for the improvement of the thermal environment, as well as the conservation of heating energy in the winter, by reviewing the use of the ceiling-embedded indoor units in the future.

The policy on the construction of Yogyakarta International Airport was responded with a rejection by the public that ended in quite a prolonged conflict. The conflict occurred because of the competing interests between the interests of the government to build an airport and the interests of the residents to stay in that location. In seven years since 2011, the conflict had de-escalated quite significantly from 2018 to 2019. This research analyzes strategies for conflict de-escalation, in which negotiation and mediation become its operating method. Researchers used a qualitative approach to extract data from actors involved in the conflict, namely the community living in the three villages most affected by the airport construction, representatives from Angkasa Pura I as the airport management authority, and representatives from the Local Government. In-depth interviews were conducted with ten key informants determined by purposive technique. The result of this research shows that the de-escalation of the conflict was managed to achieve through a persuasive approach that involved all of those concerned.

Coordination’s re-appropriation is becoming increasingly necessary because more and more organizations worldwide are unable to deal with their troubling versatile chains, re-appropriate exercises in coordination with the outsider coordinators (3PL) or professional co-operatives in coordination. Through redistributing teamwork exercises, businesses will focus on their business tasks at the core while at the same time achieving economic productivity and enhancing transport delivery and customer loyalty. Transport structure and the board of directors are of fundamental benefit to 3PLs. You can transport your own armada or haggle with at least one external carriers. In addition, 3PLs have traffic light inbound and outbound. To boost the courses, transport uses various transport methods and administration of installations. Switch coordination is one form of coordination that has an important impact on the board through ecological implementation and growing client awareness. The purpose of this paper is to enable heads of organization to determine most appropriate invert collaboration modes of operating with the complex models. There are three basic work method of coordinating for big corporations: self-supporting, joint endeavor and redistribute. To rank the other options, we applied TOPSIS as a dynamic apparatus. At long last, a model has been delineated to feature procedural execution of proposed model.

A basis for the mathematical modeling of non-isothermal gas competitive adsorption in a porous solid using Langmuir equilibrium is given. High-performance analytical solutions of considered adsorption models based on the Heaviside operating method and Landau’s decom- position and linearization approach of Langmuir equilibrium by expanding into a convergent series in the temperature phase transition point are proposed. Numerical experiments results based on high-speed computations on multicore computers are presented.

Introduction. Achilles tendon is the strongest tendon in the human body. In 1977 Ma and Griffith described the technique of percutaneous anaplasty of the damaged Achilles tendon as a compromise between surgical and conservative treatment. Choosing an operating method that gives “better” treatment results can facilitate the choice of a more effective treatment. Aim. The aim of the study was to evaluate the biomechanics of surgical treatment of patients with Achilles tendon injury using minimally invasive method. Material and Methods. The study material included 31 patients treated surgically for Achilles tendon injury in the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology of CSK MSW in Warsaw in years 2011-2016. The research group consisted of 27 men and 4 women. Their average age was 40 years. The following research tools were used to evaluate the treatment results: 1. Measuring instrument for maximum force moments in ankle joint JBA “Staniek” 2. HUR stabilographic platform Conclusions. 1 Patients presented a similar balance control on the stabilographic platform in research groups. 2. Higher values of maximum force moments in ankle joint were recorded in healthy limb.

The installation and operation of geothermal systems increased due to the expectation of good cooling and heating performance due to stable heat source temperatures. In actual geothermal system operations, heat source temperature rises or falls due to an imbalance of heating and cooling energy usage. Problems of source side temperature result in reduced geothermal system performance. The purpose of this study is to develop hybrid geothermal system operation technology to stabilize temperature and improve system performance by utilizing auxiliary heat source system. The auxiliary heat source system is operated by comparing the performance when operating the geothermal heat pump system alone and the performance when operating the hybrid geothermal heat pump system. The performance of a hybrid geothermal system is determined by the circulating water temperature of the geothermal system and the circulating water temperature of the auxiliary heat source system. Hybrid geothermal heat pump system performance is predicted through numerical analysis and collection of hybrid geothermal system performance data at various temperature ranges through field test. An operating method was developed using the predicted performance as the changeover operating point of the hybrid geothermal heat pump system. When applying the development and operation technology, it handled about 11% more load than the existing geothermal system operation. The addition of an auxiliary heat source increases the initial investment cost compared to the existing geothermal system, but decreases energy consumption, confirming that the initial investment cost of 15.3 years is recovered.

Fine particulate matter entering the body through breathing cause serious damage to humans. In South Korea, filter-type air purifiers are used to eliminate indoor fine particulate matter, and there has been a broad range of studies on the spread of fine particulate matter and air purifiers. However, earlier studies have not evaluated an operating method of air purifiers considering the inflow of fine particulate matter into the body or reduction performance of the concentration of fine particulate matter. There is a limit to controlling the concentration of fine particulate matter of the overall space where an air purifier is fixed in one spot as the source of indoor fine particulate matter is varied. Accordingly, this study analyzed changes in the concentration of indoor fine particulate matter through an experiment according to the discharging method and location of a fixed air purifier considering the inflow route of fine particulate matter into the body and their harmfulness. The study evaluated the purifiers’ performance in reducing the concentration of fine particulate matter in the occupants’ breathing zone according to the operation method in which a movable air purifier responds to the movement of occupants. The results showed the concentration of fine particulate matter around the breathing zone of the occupants had decreased by about 51 μg/m3 compared to the surrounding concentration in terms of the operating method in which an air purifier tracks occupants in real-time, and a decrease of about 68 μg/m3 in terms of the operating method in which an air purifier controls the zone. On the other hand, a real-time occupant tracking method may face a threshold due to the moving path of an air purifier and changes in the number of occupants. A zone controlling method is deemed suitable as an operating method of a movable air purifier to reduce the concentration of fine particulate matter in the breathing zone of occupants.
