The characteristics of film boiling heat transfer from a heated horizontal circular brass plate to a pool of fluorocarbon R-11 are examined for the case in which only the top side of the plate is in contact with the liquid (facing upward) and for the case in which the bottom side of the plate is in contact with the liquid (facing downward). It is found that the film coefficient for the facing downwards orientation of the plate was found to be closely correlated by the following: Nu=0.35(L/CpΔT)Gr0.25·Pr0.25

Measure the temperature change of concrete-filled steel tubular with high strength low heat micro-expansive in its hardening process with different mix proportion. Study self-stress of high strength low-heat micro-expansive and study the relations of the expansive admixtures quantity and its changing regularity with the time. Observe the fail of axial compression short column of concrete-filled steel tubular with high strength expansive under vertical loading, study the changing regularity of its stress under loading.

Boss forming, which is sometimes called hub forming, has attracted its attention as an environment-friendly rotary forming process to form a circular plate with a hole into a boss shape. An experimental study was conducted to survey the technological possibility of boss forming. Boss forming of A1050-O commercially pure aluminum plate of 10 mm thickness was carried out at room temperature under various working conditions. The effects of the working conditions on the metal flow in boss forming were clarified experimentally.
