AbstractA new species of myxozoan (Myxozoa: Bivalvulida) Thelohanellus habibpuri sp. n. parasitic in tropical freshwater fish collected from the Habibpur, West Bengal, India is described in this paper. T. habibpuri was found in the Pectoral fin of Labeo rohita (Hamilton-Buchanan, 1882). The diagnostic characters of T. habibpuri are: generally oval milky-whitish plasmodia attached in the pectoral fin of host fishes; spore egg-shaped to ovoid with slightly tapering anterior and rounded posterior end, averaging 13.9 × 8.5 μm in size; a single oval-round polar capsule 6.0 × 4.9 μm in diameter, with polar filament wound in 3-4 coils. Finely granular sporoplasm containing two slightly oval nuclei (1.4 μm in diameter) and a small iodinophilous vacuole (3.0 μm in diameter) present in the spore.SEM study of this myxozoan reveals the anterior extremity of spore is truncated. The Cnidocyst discharge channel appear as a dark area. The longitudinal wavy surface are visible on the spore.

Mai Pokahri is a mountain lake situated in midland at an altitude of 2150 m from sea level whereas Kechana jheel is situated in lowland (Tarai) at an altitude of 63 m from the sea level respectively. The lentic environments of the both lakes vary in the composition of bottomdwelling fauna and limnetic fauna respectively. The comparative studies were carried out in two different years by sampling the macroinvertebrates periodically. The bottom-fauna at Mai pokhari was found higher than Kechana jheel. Mai pokhari is still in natural condition but Kechana jheel is losing its native entity because of aquaculture. Mainly, the abundance of Chironomids showed the stratification in Mai pokhari but abundance of Trichoptera and Coleoptera in Kechana jheel indicate unstable bottom condition because continuous application of manure for pre-conditioning it as a fish pond. The alternative  method  that can be used to determine the value of a multiple linear regression variable coefficient is goal programming  method. The kind of data used in this research is secondary data namely the production of freshwater fish pond system data in the Province of West Nusa Tenggara based on Fisheries Service of West Nusa Tenggara Province year 2018. Software used to assist in reckoning is POM for Windows.Settlement calculation procedure in this research was conducted in two stages, namely the calculation with variable ????????4 and the calculation without variables ????????4. The results obtained with the variable ????????3 namely ????????1 = ????????0 = 64,08 ; ????????2 = ????????1 = 2,67 ; ????????3 = ????????2 = 0,27 ; ????????4 = ????????3 = 0, and the results obtained without variables ????????4 namely ????????1 = ????????0 = 64,08 ; ????????2 = ????????1 = 2,67 ; ????????3 = ????????2 = 0,24. The production of fresh water fish pond system in the Province of West Nusa Tenggara were affected by extensive fish ponds and food availability, while the number of domestic aquaculture freshwater fish do not affect production.
