This paper described a kind of designation method to the power distribution system in the modern computer room .Compared with the traditional power supply socket, The Power Distribution Unit (PDU) with these functions whichcan monitor the RMS current and voltage, line frequency ,energy usage ,load limitation and the relay controlling to current leak ,over load or over current etc., There also has the wired RS-485and reserved the wireless WIFI interfaces in the PDU through which the working conditionsof equipment in the computer room can be connected and monitored by administrator at any time and place.

The rapid development of information systems has an impact on increasing data storage and processing needs. Data center is a facility that consists of computer networks and storage used by other businesses or organizations to organize, process, store and disseminate large amounts of data. Data center UPT SIMJAR STIKI Indonesia has a small size of computer room, without backup power supply, space construction and security systems that are not ideal. As a result of these conditions, the process of service activities of UPT SIMJAR was disrupted. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to standardize the data center so that good data center criteria are formed, namely availability, scalability / flexibility and security. The method carried out in this design is to analyze the requirements listed in the TIA-942 standard, and proceed with the design in accordance with the required criteria. The purpose of this research is to produce a data center design that complies with the TIA-942 standard for UPT SIMJAR STIKI Indonesia.

A high level of operational reliability of power supply systems is virtually impossible to provide without operational control of the reliability of the measurement variables (currents, voltages, powers, energies, temperatures, pressures) that characterize the condition of power equipment and technological processes. Reforming the power engineering and its transition to market relations necessitate one to toughen the requirements for the reliability of the measuring information. Inaccurate measurements are a potential source of misdiagnosis of malfunctions of equipment and they cause incorrect operation of emergency control equipment and erroneous actions of operating personnel in the control of technological processes. Operational methods of reliability control that enhance the operational reliability of the measuring information are based on the usage of the semantic value of the measured data, their consistency, process consistency, and consistency of balance. These methods use technological sense of the measured variables and they complement the methods of hardware status monitoring of automated control systems based on digital codes. That improves the overall operational reliability of the transmission, collection and processing of information. The most common semantic method of control is the method of limits (“fork”) that compares the numeric value of the measured variable with the upper and lower boundaries of valid values. The disadvantage of limit values in many cases is its poor resolution, due to the wide range of appearance of results of measurements. This reduces the probability of detection of gross and systematic errors of measurements more than it may be accepted. With this regard, the objective of a reasonable narrowing of the range of valid values of the variables, that uses the theory of statistical decisions, acquires high relevance.

The paper is devoted to analysis of modern directions of innovation-investment formation of intelligent computer networks that control the fast-moving technological processes of electricity supply. It is based on the conclusion that the problem of increasing the productivity of information exchange between information resources and consumers is dominant. A method for increasing the efficiency of information exchange is proposed as a search for the rational location of a new node and the organization of such a set of its connections among the whole set of nodes of the computer network, which provides a minimum average topological distance. Mathematical models of effective topological organization of connections in computer network of power consumption control at the level of traction substations, electric power distances and the railway in general are proposed.

Network tester or so-called LAN tester is commonly used in the world of technol-ogy and information specifically related to computer networks. Network tester is very helpful for the beginner as technicians or students in learning how to install a network cable type of unshielded twisted pair (UTP) correctly. Not uncommon for a university to buy this device in large numbers but their use can not survive for one semester, making it imperative for the institution or the institution must buy back the tool for lectures next semester so it certainly makes waste in the provision of goods and services in company or university. The shortcom-ings of existing tester today is the start of the power button is still using the shift key so that the key is often broken when operated while the device is still new. Then the other shortcomings lies in LED indicators are used to determine wheth-er or not the correct network cabling generated by student or technician before use on larger networks. In addition, the tester is still very dependent on power supply batrry used that often by the time it takes turns battry power is weak and can not be used again so that the learning process becomes inhibited.
