For the betterment of comfort ability, to impart decent fading effect and to make more exquisite, denim fabric is examined with different washing techniques. Usually, Acid wash is used to fade the color of denim to a higher degree and therefore this wash has a significant effect on the physical and mechanical properties of the denim. In this paper, we worked on to find out the comparison among stone, waste wood and wood composite in case of acid wash on denim fabric dyed with indigo dye. Denim garments were processed using some parameters such as temperature 30 °C, time 30 min as well as acid concentration (H3PO4) 1 ml/L, (KMnO4) 4 gm/l. This study was focused on the physical and mechanical properties like strength, weight loss, shrinkage, EPI and PPI, absorbency, color fading, GSM, wash, rubbing and perspiration fastness test and monitored the comparison of each treated and untreated fabric samples. It was noticeable that, a significant difference was found in case of Waste wood washed and wood composite washed garments in almost all properties than stone washed garments but the desired fading effects were achieved by acid washing with wood composite on denim fabric.

Wooden Composite is assembled with semi-circular waste wood by fastener, in order to provide local Indonesian affordable construction components potentially. Considering wooden composite, the withdrawal resistance affect the shear resistance ability under short-term lateral load, therefore withdrawal test is carried out in this study. The withdrawal test shows that steel nail and self-tapping screw work properly to attach each specimen when considering the assembly of wood composite. The observation results indicate different types of fasteners affect the test result significantly. For the fasteners connected with hardwood, the test result shows higher withdrawal resistance than softwood, both using self-tapping screw and steel nail. Based on the test results, there are 3 main failure modes that is concluded, which are fastener failure, material failure, and conditional failure. The test result of self–tapping screw also shows that this kind of fastener is able to withstand 3.5 times stronger than steel nail.

In the present work, the pyrolysis of polypropylene and polyethylene was evaluated with and without the addition of niobium oxide as catalyst by means of thermogravimetric analysis and experiments in a glass reactor. The results revealed that niobium oxide performed well in the pyrolysis of both polypropylene and polyethylene separately. For the mixture of polypropylene with polyethylene, the catalyst reduced the pyrolysis time.
