An optimization study with kinetostatic analysis is performed on hybrid seven-bar press mechanism. This study is based on previous studies performed on planar hybrid seven-bar linkage. Dimensional synthesis is performed, and optimum link lengths for the mechanism are found. Optimization study is performed by using genetic algorithm (GA). Genetic Algorithm Toolbox is used with Optimization Toolbox in MATLAB®. The design variables and the constraints are used during design optimization. The objective function is determined and eight precision points are used. A seven-bar linkage system with two degrees of freedom is chosen as an example. Metal stamping operation with a dwell is taken as the case study. Having completed optimization, the kinetostatic analysis is performed. All forces on the links and the crank torques are calculated on the hybrid system with the optimized link lengths

AbstractThis paper proposes a semantic framework for Business Model evaluation and its application to a real case study in the context of smart energy and sustainable mobility. It presents an ontology based representation of an original business model and examples of inferential rules for knowledge extraction and automatic population of the ontology. The real case study belongs to the GreenCharge European Project, that in these last years is proposing some original business models to promote sustainable e-mobility plans. An original OWL Ontology contains all relevant Business Model concepts referring to GreenCharge’s domain, including a semantic description of TestCards, survey results and inferential rules.

This study aims to determine the Analysis of Molan Cattle Fattening Business Analysis. This research was carried out at the Molan Cattle Fattening Business in Tanjung Jati Village, Binjai District, Binjai City. The research is a case study. The selection of research locations with consideration of the business of Molan Cattle Farming is a profitable business. The data were collected by doing observation and direct interviews. The Data were analysis with descriptive and quantitative method. The results showed the total variable costs incurred 1 409 600 000 IDR, fixed costs amounting to 75,000,000 IDR with 1 950 000 000 IDR in revenues. The profitability value is 31.34%. The results showed the number of cattle fattening as many as 150 heads with income of 465 400 000 IDR. BEP Fattening Molan Cattle Fattening Business is 267,858,142 IDR by maintaining 21 cows. The conclusion of this research is the profitability of Molan Cattle Fattening is 31.34% higher than the interest bank of 6 percent and The Value of BEP as much as 267 858 142 IDR with maintaining 21 tails.

Multi-objective design optimization environments are used for electric vehicles and other traction applications to arrive at efficient motor drives. Typically, the environment includes characterization modules that involve the use of Electromagnetic Finite Element and State-Space models that require large number of iterations and computational time. This work proposes the utilization of a Taguchi orthogonal arrays method in conjunction with a Particle Swarm Optimization search algorithm to reduce computational time needed in the design optimization of electric motors for traction applications. The effectiveness of the Taguchi method in conjunction with the optimization environment is demonstrated in a case study involving a prototype of a Synchronous Reluctance Motor drive system.
