This work describes detailed an automatic vision system for quality control of small conveyed mechatronic components. The vision measurement has the advantages of non-contact measurement, high precision and high automation degree, thus it has become one of the important trends of development in modern measurement technique. The system highlighted in this paper sorts automatically the components inspected depending on the fabrication fault type detected by means of an electro mechanic system controlled through a serial port. The proposed system has been tested for a series of 608ZZ bearings which have been evaluated through a completely automated process. The proposed system can improve the control efficiency and can be integrated in to an existing fabrication line.

Line heating is an important technique for processing hyperboloidal outside plate of ship hull. To realize the automation of the line heating, the deformation rule in line heating should be researched. In this paper, the computer vision measurement technique is applied to find out the disciplinarian of linear deformation in line heating. The principle of computer vision measurement is firstly introduced in this paper. The emphases are the images collection, camera calibration, edge detection, and 3D data reconstruction. Then some key techniques for ensuring the measurement precision are presented. At last, the result of experiments is given. The experiments showed that the measurement system was valid for measuring the linear deformation of line heating.

The article describes the structure and the operation principle of the spectrophotometer developed on the basis of a compact rapid monochromator with one input port and two output ports and a radiometric unit where upwelling radiation radiance and sea surface irradiance channels are located. A new approach to measurements of spectral characteristics of upwelling radiation of sea based on combination of advantages of a double beam photometer with a photomultiplier and a directreading photometer with a highstability silicon photodiode for its absolute adjustment in energy units is implemented.
