Piracy is a problem that has been faced by various companies, one of which is music service software. Even though piracy gives a benefit to consumers, the losses obtained by the producer cannot be ignored. To overcome these problems, there are music services that can provide services easily and cheaply for consumers, commonly called the Subscription Based Music Service (SBMS). Although there is a service that can replace pirated products (SBMS), there is no guarantee that consumers will use it. This study aims to determine the factors that influence consumers in using SBMS music services. To achieve that, the Structural Equation Modeling method is used with AMOS software. The research was conducted in two countries, Indonesia and Germany with the aim to find out whether or not different countries affect consumer behavior. From the results of research in Indonesian and German respondents, the most influencing factor in the desire to use SBMS is the interest in the application. It can be concluded that the more music users know the service features and services provided by SBMS, the music users will be encouraged to use SBMS.

This study is about fear of crime, which is one of the most important topics in the criminological research. The study tested an integrated model in structural equation modeling method by using both SPSS and AMOS. Those who perceive higher levels of incivility were found to be more fearful of crime. Policies to reduce fear of crime and implications for future research were discussed based on the findings.

Structural equation modeling (SEM) is a widely applied and useful tool for project management scholars. In this Thoughtlet article, we critically reflect on the measurement philosophy underlying the two streams of SEM and their adequacy for estimating relationships among concepts commonly encountered in the field (e.g., team performance). We also discuss considerations to ponder when making the choice between the two types of SEM as well as between SEM and regression analysis.

The success of a construction company PT XYZ lies in the timeliness of completion and the resulting quality. To be successful in the construction sector, company performance must be maximized from day to day. Company performance, one of which is determined by the performance of each of its employees individually and together in a team. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of the training, motivation and compensation received on the performance of employees. This research is descriptive in nature and the data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents who work as the employees of the construction company PT XYZ. The data collected from questionnaires were then analyzed by using PLS-SEM (Partial Least Square - Structural Equation Modeling) method. The study found that training, motivation and compensation have a positive and significant effects on the performance of employees at PT XYZ. Therefore, training, motivation and compensation must be given to the employees of PT XYZ so that their works’ performances will be in a better shape.

Abstract Background: In all cultures and countries, adolescents exhibit behavioral problems. Aggression among adolescents may be a public health concern and is defined as a behavioral and emotional response which distressed others. The purpose of this study was to understand the individual and environmental factors associated with aggression among female teens.Method: The cross-sectional study was conducted in Tabriz, Iran. The sample consisted of 707 female middle school-aged students. The study was guided by the ecological systems theory of human development. The variables of interest were aggression, general health status, happiness, social acceptance, and feeling of loneliness. Structural equation modeling was employed to analyze the data. Results: A link between aggression and poor psychological well-being among the participating female adolescents was identified. Specifically, factors influencing aggression were low parental support, low satisfaction with body image, high sense of loneliness, and lower perceived social acceptance. Conclusion: The present study, driven by the ecological model of human development, contributes to individuals’ understanding of aggression among female adolescents, focusing on the school environment, family environment, and cognitive factors. Aggression among young girls is unhealthy and adversely affects psychological well-being. The contributing factors must be taken into consideration in designing and implementing effective interventions.
