Tuberculosis is a major health problem in India and in view of rise in the MDR tuberculosis atypical presentations are getting commoner these days and are difficult to diagnose. Musculoskeletal tuberculosis is very common among the  hematogenous spread cases of pulmonary tuberculosis involving thoracic spine the most. Involvement of sacrum and coccyx is rarest of  the possibility and isolated sacrococcygeal tuberculosis thus is very rare. Being a rare entity a high index of clinical suspicion is required to diagnose it. We hereby report a very rare case report of sacrococcygeal tuberculosis.

Abstract Small bowel malignancy (SBM) is a rare malignancy in the gastrointestinal tract. Duodenum is the most commonly involved segment and the most common histological subtype is adenocarcinoma (40%). Due to a lack of screening tools and vague symptoms, its clinical detection is very challenging. A 27-year-old man presented at the surgical emergency of Lahore General Hospital in February 2019 with non-specific gastrointestinal symptoms (vomiting, abdominal pain), for which he had previously visited the hospital multiple times. Later, on further workup, he had been diagnosed as a case of intussusception on CT scan. On exploration, he had an impassable stricture in the jejunum. Resection anastomosis of the jejunum was done, but later, on histopathology it turned out to be adenocarcinoma. Adenocarcinoma of the small bowel is a rare entity, and, particularly in Pakistan, Continuous...

The clinical course of our patient highlights an atypical presentation of thromboembolic disease related to pregnancy, a thrombophlebitis of the right ovarian vein with endocaval floating thrombus in the postpartum. The diagnosis remains difficult since it is a rare entity with an atypical presentation but with serious medical consequences.

Introduction: Persistent placoid maculopathy (PPM) is a rare entity that preferably affects males in the age range between 50 and 60 years, but cases at a young age have already been reported. In the latter, the initial symptoms are usually unilateral, without severely decreased visual acuity and anterior segment inflammation. Case report: We report a case of PPM with anterior segment inflammation in a young male. Discussion: Considering the rarity of this illness, the report of an unusual presentation in a young male can aid in the recognition of future cases of PPM.
