A single resonance frequency is the main factor of limiting vibration energy collector efficiency. In this paper, the multi degree of freedom oscillation adjusting bandwidth scheme is reported, designing a kind of new broadband vibration energy harvester, which has multi-mode energy acquisition, multi freedom vibration and broadband characteristics. Firstly, Broadband energy collector structure design. Secondly, Combining with the main vibration form, using the ANSYS carried out a detailed analysis of its working model. Finally, designing the prototype and doing some experimental verification, the results show that the designed energy collector with low frequency and wideband energy acquisition performance, the frequency domain of energy collection is 57.6 to 69.45HZ ,which break through the bottleneck of traditional single resonance frequency of energy acquisition, has a high value of theory and engineering application.

In this paper, a direct steam generation (DSG) collector is researched. To determinate the DSG collector efficiency, a simplified heat loss correlation is applied. A one-dimensional steady state heat transfer model and an energy balance equation for DSG collector are developed. A Visual basic program coupled with fluid parameters is compiled to compute fluid temperature, heat transfer coefficient and heat loss along the absorber tube by iterations for given accuracy. The variation trends of many kinds of fluid parameters along the absorber tube are revealed. The effect of length of dry steam region on collector efficiency is accounted for also.

In Hubei Province in China, About 15%-40% yield of Burley tobacco losses caused by mildew during air-curing period for High humidity and low temperature. In this paper, active solar utility system was first applied to condition temperature and humidity in the air-curing process. Forced convection solar collectors, natural convection solar collectors and air circulates system were applied in the solar Burley barns. The results showed that: The cost of the system was about 1226 ¥ per drying barn, but it could quickly increase the temperature and reduce the relative humidity of the barn, and the quality and yield were raised. The collector efficiency was about 18.8-24.9%. The average temperature of barn could be improved to 3-4 °Ceven in rainy days. The quality of upper and middle tobacco was enhanced by 11% to 13%; Yields increased by 18% to 23%; The income per acre added 371-392¥; the average income of tobacco increased from 10.49 to 10.87 ¥ per kilograms .

Abstract This manuscript has been presented to evaluate the annual performance of evacuated tube solar air collector (ETSAC) by using phase change material (PCM). The PCM (acetamide) simultaneously stores and exchange the heat to the air amid day hours. The heat stored by the PCM has been used to deliver hot air amid night hours. The performance of the system has been analyzed with a circular fin configuration along with reflectors at 0.035 kg/s air flowrate for 12 typical days. The performance of the system has been found excellent in the month of July. The maximum average temperature of PCM has been found to be as 87.8 °C and the maximum average collector efficiency as 31.4%.
