We should like to preface our essay on the subject of spinning by mentioning the circumstances under which our investigations were carried out and the sources of our information. The Panel of the Aeronautical Research Committee which has been appointed to deal with all questions connected with the stability and control of aeroplanes was requested in 1924 to consider the urgent problems connected with the alarming accidents due to certain machines failing to retover from a spin. After the issue of a preliminary report on the situation by the Panel, the writers of this paper were asked to go into the whole question as far as existing information from full-scale and wind tunnel experiments would permit. We have had ready access to all available data, coming chiefly from Farnborough on the full-scale side, and from the N.P.L. on the model side.

Presented is an introduction to the basic principles of the Advancing Blade Concept (ABC) rotor and a review of the related experimental and analytical research conducted in support of the Sikorsky ABC helicopter program. The ABC helicopter is comprised of two coaxial, counter‐rotating rotors having blades rigidly attached to the hub except for feathering freedom. The blades are significantly stiffer than conventional rotor Blades and are capable of supporting large moments without excessive tip deflections. Improved forward flight efficiency and the elimination of retreating blade stall results from the ability of the ABC rotor to utilize to a large extent the lifting potential of the advancing blades—a capability not present in conventional single rotors. Results of various small‐scale wind tunnel experiments are presented along with summaries of several analytical investigations which were conducted to provide information concerning rotor performance, blade dynamics, vibration, and stability and control

The stability and control characteristics using a wind tunnel test data process are proposed and developed to investigate the stability and control characteristics of a CS-VLA certified aircraft and to comply with the CS-VLA subpart B at the preliminary design review (PDR) and critical design review (CDR) stage. The aerodynamic characteristics of a 20% scale model are provided and investigated with clean, rudder, aileron, elevator, and winglet effects. The Mach and Reynolds correction methods are proposed to correct the aerodynamics of the scale model for stability and control analysis to obtain more reliable and accurate results of the full-scale model. The aerodynamic inputs and moment of inertia (MOI) comparison between the PDR and CDR stage show good agreement in the trends of stability and control derivatives. The CDR analysis results with the corrected wind tunnel test data and accurate MOI are investigated with respect to the longitudinal and lateral stability, control, and handling qualities to comply with the CS-VLA 173, CS-VLA 177, and CS-VLA 181 for finalizing the configuration in the CDR stage.

This article revises the mission and the name of the accounting profession in the context of strengthening the economic security of enterprises under the conditions of digitalization of the economy. The authors note that in the contemporary conditions of economic management, enterprises should form and ensure the functioning of the economic security of the enterprise at the proper level. The necessity of in-depth research of economic security at microlevel was considered, the factors influencing the stability of the enterprise were highlighted. High level of economic security of the subject of management consists in guaranteeing him maximum effective and stable functioning now and in future. Subjects of economic security were individual enterprises, and objects — their economic interests. The main goals of ensuring economic security of the enterprise in the part of accounting were singled out, the tasks of accounting policy, aimed at ensuring economic security, were determined. The prospects of the accounting profession in the process of ensuring economic security and reliable safe presentation of the results of doing business in reporting are substantiated. The study contains proposals on the revision of requirements for the qualifications of accountants in order to emphasize their activities aimed at strengthening the economic security of the enterprise.

Airframe/propulsion system interactions can strongly affect the stability and control of supersonic cruise aircraft. These interactions generate forces and moments similar in magnitude to those produced by the aerodynamic controls, and can cause significant changes in vehicle damping and static stability. This in turn can lead to large aircraft excursions or high pilot workload, or both. For optimum integration of an airframe and its jet propulsion system, these phenomena may have to be taken into account.

This research carries out the advanced phase in correlation with the previous published design of KF Implemented Flying Wing. At the primary stage the basic design was considered under omission of non-static components and turbulent conditions. At this stage the simulations have taken a step ahead with improved flow conditions and advanced modeling of the design. As per the design aspects the engines, pylons, landing gears and shape improvements were done with solid modeling. Due to the computational limitations this was divided in to two phases as cruising conditions with non-static components and further studies to be carried out in Takeoff and Landing conditions with extended landing gears. Under the stability and control conditions a separate research is being carried out in achieving the optimum capability. Propfan engine selected for extreme condition evaluations. The implementations were made without disrupting the base design which was presented in phase one basic simulation carried out prior to this. The simulation results deemed to be promising for the first stage as well as the effect of new components. The secondary target areas are to be carried out in further ongoing research as well
