We prepared a series of novel chiral far-red/near-infrared fluorescent CPNs with different nanoparticle sizes, which show size-dependent chirality and are successfully employed for cell imaging.

Two-step sequential fluorescence emission enhanced supramolecular nanoparticles are constructed from pillar[5]arene based host–guest interaction and a linear amphiphile. These supramolecular nanoparticles can be applied in mitochondria-targeted live cell imaging.

Red fluorescent Conjugated Polymer Nanoparticles (CPNs) were synthesized via widely used CPs: surfactant mass ratio (1 : 2) with the quantum yield as high as 51.8% for cell imaging.
