While many data mining models concentrate on automation and efficiency, interactive data mining models focus on adaptive and effective communications between human users and computer systems. User requirements and preferences play the most important roles in human-machine interactions, and guide the selection of target knowledge representations, operations, and measurements. Practically, user requirements and preferences also decide strategies of abnormal situation handling, and explanations of mined patterns. In this article, we discuss these fundamental issues based on a user-centered three-layer framework of interactive data mining.

While many data mining models concentrate on automation and efficiency, interactive data mining models focus on adaptive and effective communications between human users and computer systems. User requirements and preferences play an important role in human-machine interactions, and guide the selection of knowledge representations, knowledge discovery operations and measurements, combined with explanations of mined patterns. This chapter discusses these fundamental issues based on a usercentered three-layer framework of interactive data mining.

Digitalization, which has been so much talked about, contributes to the development of many industries in Russia and in the world, but at the same time dictates new requirements for digital personnel and their competencies. To keep pace with emerging trends and information technology and plan for future careers, information and communication technology (ICT) professionals should continually update their skill sets and develop new competencies with the help of the MOOC platforms that suggest appropriate courses. However, given the wide variety of platforms and courses, one can get confused about what to choose for the future development, which courses to take and what profession to follow. The authors conduct a research on user requirements, existing MOOC recommendation systems and their functions, and propose a recommendation system that allows users to select an existing MOOC platform based on assignments and skills for ICT career planning in Russia. The article proposes a modern approach that helps IT professionals plan their future development path based on MOOC recommendations corresponding to their development needs.

AbstractThis work discusses the problem of selecting methods for valuing the costs and estimating the time of implementing computer systems in cases when system modification is necessary. The methods presented in literature are reviewed and the stages of strategic phase of implementation characterised. On the basis of the analysis of data required by each method and the data obtained at different stages, appropriate selection of methods for each stage was proposed.

The environments where the build to focus the warehouse to maintain all the business aspects are satisfied and the quality are obtained on the functionalities are acting up to the users mark. The objective of this paper is to evaluate and initiate a mechanism to evaluate automation tools effectively, at the moment. There are various systems built and even if they are platform independent and also if existing with additional features they are having many demerits that don't satisfy the end user. An important contribution of this paper is the development of the metric suite that facilitates assessment and selection of a desired testing tool for automated testing and in relation to the environment for the software is developed. At the software industry it is a high value for project management team selecting the tools that may satisfy the requirement satisfactions highlighted by the end user to be satisfied to maintain the business mix.

Some of the results of an extensive study on selection and training of computer systems analysts are reported. Special attention is devoted to a job description and job analysis as a basis for identifying the critical attributes and training requirements involved. The development and validation of a battery for the selection of computer systems analysts and students of computer science are discussed.
