Paper covers issues connected to the determination of the technical characteristics of construction machinery unit performing a certain category of work. On the basis of the results of the review and analysis of scientific works concerning the problem under consideration the key disadvantages have been identified for the existing techniques. Optimization model for determination of the technical characteristics of construction machinery unit has been created. Initial form of the model is not linear toward unknown variables but it can be transformed to the linear form that allows application of simplex method for efficient solution of the problem. The created model has been implemented on a practical case – the obtained results indicated the adequacy of the developed tool.

CV. Baja Utama Landasan Ulin is a business entity that manufactures various products using the basic ingredients of iron. In the management of raw materials for the production of common regulatory process raw materials into sections for further processing. This setting is often done manually without doing careful planning, so that at the end of each production process there are many remaining pieces of the raw materials that should be used in production. In addition to the determination of the production is necessary to reference how the product should be made for each type of existing products. This is often an important factor that pushed for the optimization of production planning in determining the number of products for each type of product and raw material consumption.Linear Programming is one of the methods used in production planning to regulate the use of raw materials is limited. Simplex method is part of the linear programming method that can be used in the production planning system implementation. Simplex method identifies an initial basic solution and then move systematically to other basic solution that has the potential to improve the value of the objective function. The calculation result of production planning using the simplex method can be used as a reference in the decision making production planning. By building an application using the simplex method can assist in the calculation of production peencanaan more efficiently and effectively. Accuracy testing system constructed show significant results with great value reached 94% level of accuracy.
Keywords: simplex, production planning, the maximum gain, linear programming

In this paper, an attempt has been taken to develop a method for solving fuzzy multi-objective linear fractional programming (FMOLFP) problem. Here, at first the FMOLFP problem is converted into (crisp) multi-objective linear fractional programming (MOLFP) problem using the graded mean integration representation (GMIR) method proposed by Chen and Hsieh. That is, all the fuzzy parameters of FMOLFP problem are converted into crisp values. Then the MOLFP problem is transformed into a single objective linear programming (LP) problem using a proposal given by Nuran Guzel. Finally the single objective LP problem is solved by regular simplex method which yields an efficient solution of the original FMOLFP problem. To show the efficiency of our proposed method, three numerical examples are illustrated and also for each example, a comparison is drawn between our proposed method and the respected existing method.

The decision-making process is not always simple and requires a more careful analysis to maximize the company's revenue. This paper proposes a linear programming model applied to the decision-making of the section of quality monitoring and packaging of a Brazilian company of e-commerce, in which the simplex method was used to maximize the company's revenue from historical time data of the activities for each type of product. From the results, it was verified which products should be prioritized, providing a revenue of US$ 74,681.50. In addition, a simulation was applied to include two employees in the process, which would provide a 32.76% increase in the company's profitability and a new revenue of US$ 99,145.00.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the determination of production volume to maximize profits. This research is a quantitative research. Data analysis techniques are Forecasting and LinearProgramming (Simplex Method). The result of analysis concluded that the production volume usingLinear Programming simplex method obtained in 2019 should produce as many as 405,792,000molten chocolate bread per year and by 2020 should produce as many as 4,107,480 molten chocolatebread per year for earning maximum profit. Meanwhile, the Forecasting result is to produce 4 typesof bread as many as 6,308,240 breads in 2019 and 6,365,560 breads in 2020. In terms of profitoptimization then calculation using Linear Programming is better however considering the marketingaspect where consumers require a variety of bread flavors then calculation using forecasting method ismore recommended. The purpose of this study are to (1) determine the combination of inputs used in producing products such as beef sausages and veal sausage meatball; and (2) determine the optimal combination whether the product can provide the maximum profit. In order to determine the combination of inputs and maximum benefits can be used linear programming with graphical and simplex method. The valuation result shows that the optimal input combination would give a profit of Rp. 1.115 million per day.

The purpose of this study is to study the maximization of business profits through the determination of the optimal use of production factors in the trawl ring business in Latuhalat. Observations and direct interviews based on questionnaires were carried out on 3 fishermen who owned trawl ring businesses in 3 hamlets in Latuhalat. Data were analyzed using business profit analysis methods and linear programming analysis. The results showed that: 1). The optimal use of production factors for trawling by the respondents in Latuhalat is 41 - 45 trips in June using 15.2 - 21.1 liters of gasoline, 280.9 - 304.4 liters of gasoline, 10.1 - 21 , 2 liters of oil, using labor as much as 15-17 people for 8 hours / day, and using transportation and FAD services as much as 351.3 - 360 HOK or 8 hours per day; and 2). The maximum profit that can be obtained from trawling rings by respondents in Latuhalat is Rp. 165,545,500 - up to Rp. 184,800,000, - in June. To achieve this maximum profit, respondents need to produce 25,270.3 kg of fish to 27,540.98 kg in June.
