Narcolepsy with cataplexy is a severe lifelong disorder characterized, among others, by sudden loss of bilateral face muscle tone triggered by emotions (cataplexy). A recent approach for the diagnosis of the disease is based on a completely manual analysis of video recordings of patients undergoing emotional stimulation made on-site by medical specialists, looking for specific facial behavior motor phenomena. We present here the CAT-CAD tool for automatic detection of cataplexy symptoms, with the double aim of (1) supporting neurologists in the diagnosis/monitoring of the disease and (2) facilitating the experience of patients, allowing them to conduct video recordings at home. CAT-CAD includes a front-end medical interface (for the playback/inspection of patient recordings and the retrieval of videos relevant to the one currently played) and a back-end AI-based video analyzer (able to automatically detect the presence of disease symptoms in the patient recording). Analysis of patients’ videos for discovering disease symptoms is based on the detection of facial landmarks, and an alternative implementation of the video analyzer, exploiting deep-learning techniques, is introduced. Performance of both approaches is experimentally evaluated using a benchmark of real patients’ recordings, demonstrating the effectiveness of the proposed solutions.

Industrie 4.0 gestattet transparente sowie sachgerecht angepasste Wertschöpfungsketten. Dazu ist es nötig, ein tiefgreifendes Prozessverständnis zu besitzen sowie die Aufnahme, Auswertung und Speicherung der relevanten Daten zu bewerkstelligen. Der Beitrag gibt einen Einblick in Industrie 4.0-Ansätze in der Umformtechnik und zeigt ausgewählte Ergebnisse aus dem Verbundprojekt „RobIN 4.0“.   Industrie 4.0 opens the possibility to realize a monitoring and qualified adaption along the entire value chain. Prerequisites for this include a deep understanding of the process as well as achieving the recording, analysis and storage of relevant process data. This paper gives an insight into Industrie 4.0 approaches for the forming industry and presents selected results of the RobIN 4.0-project.

The purpose of this research is to investigate the cooperative principle violation between the teacher and the students in grade eighth classroom teaching and learning process in SMP N 11 Pematangsiantar. The problem of this research was What cooperative principle are violated by the teacher and the students in grade eighth classroom teaching and learning process in SMP N 11 Pematangsiantar, To solve the problem, the researchers use some theories like: Grundy (2000), Yule (1996), Cruse (2000), Cook (1989), Cutting (2002), Moloeong (2007), Grice (1975). The research done in this study follows descriptive qualitative perspective. Source data in this study is the cooperative principle violation between the teacher and the students in grade eighth classroom teaching and learning process in SMP N 11 Pematangsiantar. Descriptive research describes what it is. It involves the descriptions, recording, analysis, and interpretation of conditions that exist. After analyzing the data, the researchers conclude that the maxim are flouted if the information is more informative than is required, ambiguous, uses symbolic, not absolutely true, lack of adequate evidence. The maxim can be flouted when the researcherss produce some utterances in the form. From the data can found the maxim, they are: maxim of Quality, maxim of Quantity, maxim of Relevant, maxim of Manner. The maxim flout when the conversation started until the end, so the maxim can used in the conversation and the conversation can analyze with the maxim.

Abstract To date, the assessment of student translations has been largely based on configurations of error categories that address some facet of the translation product. Focal points of such product-oriented error annotation include language mechanics (punctuation, grammar, lexis and syntax, for example) and various kinds of transfer errors. In recent years, screen recording technology has opened new doors for empirically informing translation assessment from a more process-oriented perspective (Massey and Ehrensberger-Dow, 2014; Angelone, 2019). Screen recording holds particular promise when tracing errors documented in the product back to potential underlying triggers in the form of processes that co-occur on screen in their presence. Assessor observations made during screen recording analysis can give shape to process-oriented error categories that parallel and complement product-oriented categories. This paper proposes a series of empirically informed, process-oriented error categories that can be used for assessing translations in contexts where screen recordings are applied as a diagnostic tool. The categories are based on lexical and semantic patterns derived from a corpus-based analysis of think-aloud protocols documenting articulations made by assessors when commenting on errors made in student translations while watching screen recordings of their work. It is hoped that these process-oriented error categories will contribute to a more robust means by which to assess and classify errors in translation.

Abstract EEG recording is used in veterinary medicine as a diagnostic tool to support clinical diagnosis of idiopathic epilepsy and to identify focal seizure activity. This retrospective study was designed to compare EEG procedures in 23 dogs with idiopathic epilepsy before and after phenobarbital treatment. Differences among standard deviations for particular bands were significant. During phenobarbital treatment the delta band decreased.
