Climate change has increased the vulnerability of physical environments and natural disasters can cause serious loses. Climate change and the plight of the world's indigenous people of Taiwan, the South Island nation and other aboriginal peoples of the world has been a very popular topic and the similarities and differences of both situations are being discussed; it has been suggested that each country should develop its own system to evaluate the disaster risk caused by climate change. Therefore, this study is based on the climate circumstance that drafts evaluation indexes through literature and now saves the most completed existing slabstone houses as the case, review and experts workshop. Furthermore, this study sorts evaluation indexes through the Fussy Delphi method. Finally, the entire evaluation system includes three themes: climate change factor, physical environment condition, and social economic condition. Indictors include: typhoon season, rainy season, summer, geological hazards sensitive area, awaiting migration of the settlements, and slabstone house renovation system.

Abstract Background: Medical endoscope is widely used in clinical practice for the purpose of diagnosis and treatment, occupying around 5% of the medical device market. Evaluating the true service level of medical endoscope is essential and necessary to improve overall performance of medical diagnosis and treatment, and to maintain competitiveness of endoscope manufacturers, however, such a tool is not available in the market. This study develops an Evaluation Index System (EIS) to assess service level of medical endoscope, and to provide suggestions for improving the service level through the Delphi method. Methods: Firstly, the possible factors influencing the service level were identified from literature review. In parallel, the Delphi expert method questionnaire was designed and 25 experts were invited to conduct three rounds of questionnaire, to evaluate and rate the possible factors. Finally, we determined the weights associated with the factors, using the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and percentage method, and developed theservice level EIS. Results: The EIS consists of 3 first-level indicators, 24 second-level indicators and 68 third-level indicators. According to the weights computed using AHP, first-level indicators are ranked as post-sale (0.62), in-sale (0.25) and pre-sale (0.13). Through case verification, the medical endoscope brand Olympus had a total score of 4.17, Shanghai Aohua had a total score of 3.71, and Shanghai Chengyun had a total score of 3.28, which matches its market popularity and ranking in terms of market share. The results obtained from the EIS are consistent with the reality. Conclusions: The EIS established in this study is comprehensive, reliable and reasonable with strong practicality. The EIS can act as a tool for the endoscope users to evaluate potential products and make informed choices. It also provides a measurable basis for endoscope manufacturers and service providers to improve service quality.

Chongqing International Marathon event is one of the top marathon events in China. Under the background of the new era, constructing a scientific and reasonable marathon evaluation system plays an important role in the development of this event. In this study, literature method, field investigation method, Delphi method, interview method, analytic hierarchy process, and other methods are used. And it includes 5 primary indicators, 13 secondary indicators, and 58 tertiary indicators. What is more, AHP is used to determine the weight of indicators at each level. This evaluation system can help the race-organizing committee more scientifically understand this event and lay a solid foundation for finally building an excellent brand event.

This paper analyses the impact of the common European criteria on the Less Favoured Areas (LFA) delineation in the Czech Republic (CR) and compares it with currently used point evaluation system. Further, it compares the advantages and disadvantages of both delineation systems from various points of view and concerning the needs of common agricultural policies. In the Czech Republic, a system of point evaluation of the agricultural land productivity based on the Evaluated soil-ecological units (ESEU) is used for delineation of the other than mountain LFA since 2001. Within the programme period 2014–2020, the European Commission proposes to delineate the other than mountain LFA using a single set of criteria, common for all the member states. Some criteria of the natural handicap proposed by the European Commission (EC) can be derived directly from the ESEU five-cipher code and from the soil maps. The comparison clearly shows that the current Czech system of point evaluation of the productivity of agricultural land can express better the influence of worse soil and climatic conditions on the limitations of the agricultural use of the land than the system proposed by the EC. Additionally, the ESEU point evaluation can express also the effect of simultaneous influence of more factors, which may thus increase or decrease the final ESEU point values. Conversely, it is necessary to remark that the land quality evaluation based on ESEU is rather complicated and not easily understandable for the wide public. Also, it cannot be applied in all the EU countries.
