Abstract The inefficiency of the use of electric energy for indoor lighting is shown. The necessity of modernization of lighting control systems in the workplace area is justified. The method of automatic control and adjustment of illumination of workplaces and zones where it is necessary is offered. A control system has been developed, which is integrated into the air optical information transmission system (Internet). The simulation of the system operation is carried out, its parameters are calculated. The main characteristics are measured.

<p>Currently, energy saving requires the development of simple and efficient street lighting control systems. In order to create such a control system, it is necessary to develop an original principle of its operation. They considered the advantages of electronic starting devices in street lighting control systems. They performed the analysis of the existing state of street lighting means, their shortcomings and solutions have been determined, and they developed the method of lighting device automatic control. They performed the assessment of the economic effect from loss reduction associated with reactive power and due to power reduction during deep night. They presented the example of economic effect achievement from the use of an electronic starting device with automatic power reduction.</p>

Media remote control or wireless (LAN) is a growing need for human behavior that want to move faster and farther range of location of residence. This research will be designed and built a prototype system controlling lights at home using Arduino microcontroller connected to mobile devices based on Android. Light control is done on a mobile device that is connected to the control system via WiFi Router lights. Wifi Router has sufficient coverage so that the owners of these devices can move more comfortably without having to control the lights via a switch on the wall of the house. The house lights controller circuit can adjust the lights ON and OFF as well as the Bright and Dim the lamp 1 and lamp 2. Lighting Control Application on mobile android devices already can set the lights on the control circuit.

Purpose Intelligent lighting control system can control lights to go off when people leave, which has been widely concerned by researchers. Design/methodology/approach In this study, an intelligent lighting control system based on wireless sensor network was designed. First, the hardware and software designs of the system were described briefly. Then, the lighting control algorithm was analyzed emphatically. Considering the illumination and uniformity of light, an intelligent lighting control algorithm based on gradient descent was designed. Findings In the system test, it was found that the system had a good through-wall communication function, and the communication distance could fully meet the system requirements and run normally. In the test of the lighting control algorithm, it was found that the user’s satisfaction on uniformity in different scenarios was close to 1, and the satisfaction on illumination could also meet the user’s needs, which verified the reliability of the lighting control algorithm. Originality/value This study provides some theoretical supports for the better application of wireless sensor network in intelligent light control system, which is conducive to the further development of light control system.

Research of college classroom intelligent Lighting control system is based on the point of view of intelligence and energy saving. Considering the phenomenon of lighting waste and poor system management, a design of high stability and low power consumption intelligent Light control system is proposed. Through the research of distribution method of light source and the application of CAN bus communications technologies, this paper mainly introduces a distributed light control system based on ARM. According to the demand of indoor illumination, the system can achieve real-time and accurate regulation of all classrooms lights. Compared with the traditional lighting control system, besides the characteristic of energy saving, the system also is characterized by strong anti-interference and intelligent management etc.

Objective: To develop and justify energy-efficient and energy-saving control technology of traction electric drive with maximum realization of traction properties. Methods: Mathematical modeling, experimental manufacturing of prototypes of the converters and control system. Results: Theoretical justification was presented, based on refinement of the theory of energy processes in electrical circuits with solid state power controllers. It was proposed to apply electrical resistance of elements in electric power systems as a power control parameter instead of the conventional voltage. It was revealed that, in contrast to the existing analogues, semiconductor power regulators of different application with a new control parameter acquire the property of the electric variator. Technical solutions for manufacturing an innovative traction electric rolling stock were introduced with the use of advanced technical solutions of power control with adaptive control system that provides improved traction properties without shortening irreversible transformation of electric energy of power semiconductor devices. As an example, the solutions involving artificial intelligence in control systems of complex technical systems were presented, based on graphics processors, neural networks, providing parallel processing of large information arrays. Practical importance: Introduction of electric solid state variable speed with adaptive, intelligent control systems will significantly raise energy efficiency and improve the implementation of traction parameters of the locomotive.
