Abstract The article considers the process of forming management decisions for the correct operation of a multi-agent robotic system (grouping of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs)) in a rapidly changing conditions. A neural network (NN) is used as a regulator, which is a perceptron with two intermediate layers, one is input and the other one is output. The training of the constructed neural network is carried out according to an algorithm that combines the ideas of the conjugate gradient method with quasi-Newtonian methods, and in particular, uses the approach implemented in the Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm. As input parameters for building a control system, various types of situations are used in which the UAV leader has to make decisions. Such initial data are a three-dimensional data structure, which is a two-dimensional array, each element of which is a vector. One vector reflects all available information about the situation in certain geographic coordinates (weather conditions, data on other damaging factors affecting the ability of the UAV to operate in a certain area), and the other describes the current state of the UAV (power reserve, weight, operability of components and assemblies, term of next service, etc.). The obtained information is put down into the input layer of the NN by numerical equivalents. The paper proposes a situational work model of a UAV group in special conditions.

Aiming to solve the problem of low precision of traditional photovoltaic power forecast method under abrupt weather conditions. In this paper, a high-precision photovoltaic power prediction method based on similarity time and LM-BP neural network is proposed. Firstly, the factors affecting the output power of photovoltaic power station are analyzed, and the short-term output power model of photovoltaic power station is established based on similar day and LM-BP neural network. Then, from the perspective of model training efficiency and prediction accuracy, the deficiencies in the short-term power prediction of photovoltaic power stations based on similar days and LM-BP algorithm are analyzed. Secondly, the prediction model of LM-BP neural network based on similar hours is established. Finally, Jiaxing photovoltaic power station is taken as an example for simulation verification. The simulation results show that the proposed method has high accuracy in predicting photovoltaic power under abrupt weather conditions.

In this research paper, a nonlinear autoregressive with exogenous input (NARX) model of the nonlinear system based on neural network and time series analysis is proposed to deal with the one-month forecast of the produced power from photovoltaic modules (PVM). The PVM is a monocrystalline cell with a rated production of 175 watts that is placed at Heliopolis University, Bilbéis city, Egypt. The NARX model is considered powerful enough to emulate the nonlinear dynamic state-space model. It is extensively performed to resolve a variety of problems and is mainly important in complex process control. Moreover, the NARX method is selected because of its quick learning and completion times, as well as high appropriateness, and is distinguished by advantageous dynamics and interference resistance. The neural network (NN) is trained and optimized with three algorithms, the Levenberg–Marquardt Algorithm (NARX-LMA), the Bayesian Regularization Algorithm (NARX-BRA) and the Scaled Conjugate Gradient Algorithm (NARX-SCGA), to attain the best performance. The forecasted results using the NARX method based on the three algorithms are compared with experimentally measured data. The NARX-LMA, NARX-BRA and NARX-SCGA models are validated using statistical criteria. In general, weather conditions have a significant impact on the execution and quality of the results.

Chaperonins are a class of proteins characterized by their role as morphogenetic factors. They trantsiently interact with the structural components of certain biological aggregates (viruses, enzymes etc), promoting their correct folding, assembly and, eventually transport. The groEL factor from E. coli is a conspicuous member of the chaperonins, as it promotes the assembly and morphogenesis of bacterial oligomers and/viral structures. We have studied groEL-like factors from two different bacteria:E. coli and B.subtilis. These factors share common morphological features , showing two different views: one is 6-fold, while the other shows 7 morphological units. There is also a correlation between the presence of a dominant 6-fold view and the fact of both bacteria been grown at low temperature (32°C), while the 7-fold is the main view at higher temperatures (42°C). As the two-dimensional projections of groEL were difficult to interprete, we studied their three-dimensional reconstruction by the random conical tilt series method from negatively stained particles.

The inheritance and innovation of ancient architecture decoration art is an important way for the development of the construction industry. The data process of traditional ancient architecture decoration art is relatively backward, which leads to the obvious distortion of the digitalization of ancient architecture decoration art. In order to improve the digital effect of ancient architecture decoration art, based on neural network, this paper combines the image features to construct a neural network-based ancient architecture decoration art data system model, and graphically expresses the static construction mode and dynamic construction process of the architecture group. Based on this, three-dimensional model reconstruction and scene simulation experiments of architecture groups are realized. In order to verify the performance effect of the system proposed in this paper, it is verified through simulation and performance testing, and data visualization is performed through statistical methods. The result of the study shows that the digitalization effect of the ancient architecture decoration art proposed in this paper is good.

Abstract For a robust three-dimensional video transmission through error prone channels, an efficient multiple description coding for multi-view video based on the correlation of spatial polyphase transformed subsequences (CSPT_MDC_MVC) is proposed in this article. The input multi-view video sequence is first separated into four subsequences by spatial polyphase transform and then grouped into two descriptions. With the correlation of macroblocks in corresponding subsequence positions, these subsequences should not be coded in completely the same way. In each description, one subsequence is directly coded by the Joint Multi-view Video Coding (JMVC) encoder and the other subsequence is classified into four sets. According to the classification, the indirectly coding subsequence selectively employed the prediction mode and the prediction vector of the counter directly coding subsequence, which reduces the bitrate consumption and the coding complexity of multiple description coding for multi-view video. On the decoder side, the gradient-based directional interpolation is employed to improve the side reconstructed quality. The effectiveness and robustness of the proposed algorithm is verified by experiments in the JMVC coding platform.

A comparison between artificial neural network (ANN) and multiple linear regression (MLR) models was employed to predict the heat of combustion, and the gross and net heat values, of a diesel fuel engine, based on the chemical composition of the diesel fuel. One hundred and fifty samples of Iraqi diesel provided data from chromatographic analysis. Eight parameters were applied as inputs in order to predict the gross and net heat combustion of the diesel fuel. A trial-and-error method was used to determine the shape of the individual ANN. The results showed that the prediction accuracy of the ANN model was greater than that of the MLR model in predicting the gross heat value. The best neural network for predicting the gross heating value was a back-propagation network (8-8-1), using the LevenbergMarquardt algorithm for the second step of network training. R = 0.98502 for the test data. In the same way, the best neural network for predicting the net heating value was a back-propagation network (8-5-1), using the LevenbergMarquardt algorithm for the second step of network training. R = 0.95112 for the test data.

AbstractThe Kirchhoff-Love hypothesis expresses a kinematic constraint that is assumed to be valid for the deformations of a three-dimensional body when one of its dimensions is much smaller than the other two, as is the case for plates. This hypothesis has a long history checkered with the vicissitudes of life: even its paternity has been questioned, and recent rigorous dimension-reduction tools (based on standard $\varGamma $ Γ -convergence) have proven to be incompatible with it. We find that an appropriately revised version of the Kirchhoff-Love hypothesis is a valuable means to derive a two-dimensional variational model for elastic plates from a three-dimensional nonlinear free-energy functional. The bending energies thus obtained for a number of materials also show to contain measures of stretching of the plate’s mid surface (alongside the expected measures of bending). The incompatibility with standard $\varGamma $ Γ -convergence also appears to be removed in the cases where contact with that method and ours can be made.
