Abstract Aiming at the harmonic resonance problem of photovoltaic inverter cluster system when it is incorporated into weak power grid, an active damper frequency division control method is proposed to suppress the harmonic resonance. Firstly, the voltage signal measured by the voltage transformer is separated according to the frequency, and then the harmonic conductance value of the frequency band is controlled respectively according to the harmonic voltage. Finally, the output current is feedback controlled by the generalized integral PI controller, so as to realize the impedance remolding of the photovoltaic inverter cluster system. This method can adjust the value of virtual conductance in different frequency band adaptively according to the harmonic voltage, so as to suppress the harmonic resonance problem of photovoltaic inverter cluster more effectively. The simulation results of Matlab/Simulink demonstrate the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed frequency division control method.

The demand for dual-functional wireless systems is on the rise as certain resources become more congested and scarce. Joint communication-radar (JCR) is a promising technology that is becoming very critical and growing in popularity, where communication and radar applications are serviced simultaneously sharing the same hardware/software and the frequency band resources. JCR and its alternatives need to be cleverly integrated into certain waveforms such as orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) to function properly without degradation in the performance. With the aid of the promising concepts of index modulation (IM) and Golay complementary sequences, a novel JCR waveform is proposed to serve both communication and radar applications with the same resources. It has been shown by extensive computer simulations that the proposed OFDM with an index modulation (OFDM-IM) waveform outperforms the classical OFDM with fixed pilot design both in bit error rate (BER) performance and radar-based applications by introducing diversity among subcarriers and frequency agility over the whole frequency band.

A new control method used in the semi-active suspension is studied. The force generated by the semi-active damper can be divided into two parts, one is the uncontrollable force, and the other is the controllable force. In order to make the sprung mass have the ideal isolation effect, the controllable force should be equal to the sum of the uncontrollable force and the force generated by the suspension spring. But the controllable force is limited by many constraints. Therefore, the control strategy can be concluded. The simulation results show that the ride comfort and handling stability are both improved by the control method.
