Concentrations of lead in roadside soils from different function areas of Suzhou City were determined and analysed by X-Ray fluorescence spectrometer, and the method of geoaccumulation index. The results indicate that the concentrations of lead in roadside soils range from 23 to 90 mg/kg, with an average value of 37.11 mg/kg, exceeded the environment background value; the lead concentration from high to low is commercial areas, areas around station, industrial areas, urban green space and residential areas; most of roadside soils have not been polluted or only slightly polluted, except sampling site 19, 23 and 49 (moderate pollution).

Heavy metal concentration in the roadside soil collected from the four directions was determined by X-Ray Fluorescence Spectroscope. The results indicated that the average copper concentration is higher than the soil background value of Anhui province and Cu was highly enriched and accumulated; the order of copper concentration from high to low is: Commercial areas > Areas around station > Industrial areas > Residential areas >Urban green space; the pollution assessment results of Geo-accumulation index showed that some samples((19, 23 ,26 and 29) is less moderate pollution or moderate pollution, , and the others are light pollution or unpolluted.

Mast cells in the dura mater of the rat may play a role in cerebral pathologies including neurogenic inflammation (vasodilation; plasma extravasation) and headache pain . As has been suggested for other tissues, dural mast cells may exhibit a close spatial relationship to nerves. There has been no detailed ultrastructural description of mast cells in this tissue; therefore, the goals of this study were to provide this analysis and to determine the spatial relationship of mast cells to nerves and other components of the dura mater in the rat.Four adult anesthetized male Wistar rats (290-400 g) were fixed by perfusion through the heart with 2% glutaraldehyde and 2.8% paraformaldehyde in a potassium phosphate buffer (pH 7.4) for 30 min. The head of each rat was removed and stored in fixative for a minimum of 24 h at which time the dural coverings were removed and dissected into samples that included the middle meningeal vasculature. Samples were routinely processed and flat embedded in LX 112. Thick (1 um) sections from a minimum of 3 blocks per rat were stained with toluidine blue (0.5% aqueous).

This article argues that the analysis of a threedimensional image demanded a three-dimensional approach. The authors realise that discussions of images and image processing inveterately conceptualise representation as being flat, static, and finite. The authors recognise the need for a fresh acuteness to three-dimensionality as a meaningful – although problematic – element of visual sources. Two dramatically different examples are used to expose the shortcomings of an ingrained two-dimensional approach and to facilitate a demonstration of how modern (digital) techniques could sanction new historical/anthropological perspectives on subjects that have become all too familiar. Each example could not be more different in their temporal and geographical location, their cultural resonance, and their historiography. However, in both these visual spectacles meaning is polysemic. It is dependent upon the viewer's spatial relationship to the artifice as well as the spirito-intellectual viewer within the community. The authors postulate that the multi- faceted and multi-layered arrangement of meaning in a complex image could be assessed by working beyond the limitations of the two-dimensional methodological paradigm and by using methods and media that accommodated this type of interconnectivity and representation.

For the most part, research and policymaking on urban gardening have focused on community gardens, whether in parks, vacant lots, or other public land. This emphasis, while important for many Midwestern cities, can obscure the significance of privately owned land such as front yard and back yard and their crucial connections with gardening on public land. In this case study, we examine how policies and practices related to gardening and the management of green space in two Midwestern cities exceed narrow visions of urban agriculture. The article explores the cultivation of vacant lot gardens and private yards as two modes of property in similar Midwestern contexts and argues that the management of green space is about more than urban agriculture. Instead, we show how urban gardening occurs across public/private property distinctions and involves a broader set of actors than those typically included in sustainability policies. Gardening also provides a key set of connections through which neighbors understand and practice sustainability in Midwestern cities.

The soil has an important role in construction, namely as the loading of soil on clay. It is necessary to improve the nature of the shrinkage. The authors conducted the study to increase the strength of clay by adding wood ashes and bamboo ashes. Wood ash and bamboo ash have pozzolan properties expected to add power to clay when weighted, would drop significantly.  Material compares in this study using a mix of wood ash and bamboo ash with a variation of 0%, 4%, 8%, and 12%. Meanwhile, the clay soil is taken directly from the ravaged area, from bulging villages, from the grid district. The results showed that the soil is categorized as montmorillonite soil with properties that can damage light structures and road surface runoff. After adding wood and bamboo ash, it showed optimum results of 12% of the dry fixed test items showing a liquid limit’s value at 41,00%, plastic limit at 28,43%, and the net value of plastic limit at 12,57%. When testing for solidification using native soil at a dry volume of 7,91, gr/cm rainfall can increase by 10,42 gr/cm additives after adding 12% of wood ash and bamboo ash.Tanah memiliki peran penting dalam konstruksi yaitu sebagai pembebanan tanah pada tanah liat. Perlu untuk memperbaiki sifat penyusutan. Penulis melakukan penelitian untuk meningkatkan kekuatan tanah liat dengan cara menambahkan abu kayu dan abu bambu. Abu kayu dan abu bambu memiliki sifat pozzolan yang diharapkan dapat menambah kekuatan pada tanah liat saat tertimbang, akan turun secara signifikan. Perbandingan material dalam penelitian ini menggunakan campuran abu kayu dan abu bambu dengan variasi 0%, 4%, 8%, dan 12%. Sementara itu, tanah lempung diambil langsung dari area yang rusak, dari desa-desa yang menggembung, dari grid distrik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tanah tersebut dikategorikan sebagai tanah montmorillonite dengan sifat yang dapat merusak struktur ringan dan aliran permukaan jalan. Setelah dilakukan penambahan abu kayu dan bambu didapatkan hasil optimum dari 12% benda uji tetap kering yang menunjukkan nilai batas cair 41,00%, batas plastis  28,43%,   dan   nilai   bersih   batas  plastis  12,57%.   Pada pengujian solidifikasi menggunakan tanah asli pada volume kering 7,91 gr / cm curah hujan dapat meningkat sebesar 10,42 gr / cm aditif setelah penambahan 12% abu kayu dan abu bambu.
