AbstractCarbonylation, one of the most powerful approaches to the preparation of carbonylated compounds, has received significant attention from researchers active in various fields. Indeed, impressive progress has been made on this subject over the past few decades. Among the various types of carbonylation reactions, asymmetric carbonylation is a straightforward methodology for constructing chiral compounds. Although rhodium-catalyzed enantioselective hydroformylations have been discussed in several elegant reviews, a general review on palladium-catalyzed asymmetric carbonylations is still missing. In this review, we summarize and discuss recent achievements in palladium-catalyzed asymmetric carbonylation reactions. Notably, this review’s contents are categorized by reaction type.

In the next few years, more than 80% of AC power is to be processed through power converters owing to their benefits of energy conservation, flexibility, network interconnection, and weight and volume reduction in a number of equipment such as lighting arrestors, HVAC computers, fans, and so on.This paper gives an introduction on power quality (PQ), causes and effects of power quality problems. It also deals with power quality definitions, terminologies, standards, bench-marks, monitoring requirements, financial loss, and analytical quantification. It also discusses various types of nonlinear loads, which cause these power quality problems, they are illustrated, classified, modeled, quantified, and analyzed forassociated power quality issues.

Purpose Information resources management (IRM) and information management (IM) are two distinct terms often used interchangeably in the literature as synonyms, but perhaps, they mean different things. It is worthy of investigation to clarify whether these two related terms are in fact synonyms, and if not, what line of demarcation does them apart, discussion of some underpinning common generalities and issues that compass their misconceptions. This is a significant gap in the literature that needs to be bridged to develop a common ground of what differentiates IRM from IM. Design/methodology/approach It is a general review of the legitimate differences between IRM and IM. Findings Information resources in the ambit of IRM cannot achieve anything except people do something with it either by examining, categorizing or describing it, but in the end, they understood, rebut, alter or do all sorts of manipulation to the data set or information. Meanwhile, all this interpretation and manipulation constitute the hallmark of IM. Originality/value At this point, we need to take note of the fact that IRM is not the same as IM but rather IRM forms part of a holistic framework or components of IM. This is to say that successful IM cannot take place without proper IRM.

The article outlines the benefits and risks of vaccines. Vaccine safety and myths and misinformation, the general review of the importance of the vaccines. Steps involved in the Development of Vaccines and also illustrates the immunization importance and its disadvantages. Administration of vaccines in different age groups. Classification of different available vaccines in the health market. Also stating the possible adverse drug reactions / potential side effects of the vaccines and their monitoring and management of adrs. We concluded that Vaccine acceptance must be widespread in order to provide herd immunity so that individuals who cannot be directly protected by vaccination are protected by communal immunity. The danger is quite low, and the advantages of vaccinations usually outweigh it.

Issues on measuring or assessing library impact have not been widely discussed in Indonesia. So far, many libraries have only focused on how to measure its performance in various aspects and the provision of statistical data conducted with various tools / methods / approaches, including SNI ISO 11620:2014 on library performance indicators and SNI ISO 2789:2013 on library statistics. This paper aims to introduce one of the standards that can be used in library impact assessment, ISO 16439-2014, Information and documentation - Methods and procedures for assessing the impact of libraries. This paper is a review paper and the method used in its writing is a general review that is providing an overview of a particular subject by examining previously published studies on the subject. This paper summarizes some of the methods described in ISO 16439 and new insights related to the implementation of library impact assessments based on these standards. Based on the results of the review, this standard comprehensively describes various methods for assessing the impact of libraries on individuals, institutions or library communities, and social that have been used around the world by various types of libraries at various scales. It also provides a way to determine the right method choices according to the impact assessment objectives that a library want to achieve, scope, and resources.

Overactive bladder (OAB) is a heterogeneous syndrome estimated to affect approximately 10% to 15% of men and women globally. OAB not only negatively impacts quality of life but also results in a significant financial burden to both patients and health systems. Therefore, it is crucial that OAB is properly addressed. This manuscript provides a general review of the diagnostic algorithm for OAB and treatment per the AUA/SUFU guidelines, and an overview of new developments in OAB therapy. Given the wide array of therapeutic options that currently exist and those that are currently under development, there is tremendous opportunity to treat OAB successfully and positively affect our patients’ lives.
