The power frequency electric field and Electric radiation generated by high voltage transmission line have a great impact on the surrounding environment, which is one of the important research topic on environmental protection and electromagnetic compatibility technology field. In this paper, the information database of typical transmission line and tower established, and the prediction of power frequency electric field intensity of high voltage transmission line has been given by using the 3-D computational method. Then, the major factors affecting the calculation results of electric field is discussed based on the measured data and the error analysis is given.

In ultra-high voltage transmission system, the electrostatic induction generated by power frequency electric field will exerts negative effects on the electrical automation equipment within the substation and, in particular, will leads long-term harm to staffs’ health. However, researches of electric field environment in ultra-high voltage transmission system merely concentrate on calculating the electric field intensity caused by three-phase limited length wire or three-phase infinite wire within the transmission, without considering the method of calculating half-infinite wire which represents “one end is fixed, while the other end is infinite length’s wire”. Consequently, a new method named “Charge Simulation-Genetic Algorithm (CS-GA) method” which can efficiently calculate power frequency electric field inside of the substation is proposed in the paper. In CS-GA method, the effective calculating length is determined by genetic algorithm method’s optimization, which in other words, half-infinite length wire is substituted for limited length wire in calculating the electric field intensity. The simulation results indicate that CS-GA method is a relatively accurate, efficient and reasonable way on calculating the power frequency electric field inside of the substation.

Abstract In the era of intellectualization, many substation inspection robots are being put into operation, but they will cause electric field distortion in the surrounding space during operation. This paper establishes a three-dimensional simplified simulation calculation model for 500kV substations and inspection robots. Based on the boundary element method, we simulate the power frequency electric field of the substation switchyard and analysis the distortion electric field when the inspection robot is in the station. The results show that when the electric field intensity is strong, the distortion coefficient caused by the robot will be larger, and the maximum can reach 2.25 times, and when the electric field intensity is small, the distortion coefficient will be smaller, and the distortion coefficient is 1.42 times on average.

The working principle of ring capacitance sensor is introduced, that is capacitance fringe effect. Finite element model is established through the Hybrid-Trefftz algorithm. Electric field analysis and simulation calculation of different sensor model are done with the finite element software ANSYS, and the optimal structure combination is obtained. And followed the example of optimal structure, the relation of dielectric constant and electric field intensity were given. The result of simulation shows the most direct and the most important two parameters that affect the sensor performance in the design of the ring capacitance sensor are the two electrodes spacing and the length. The dielectric constant of measured medium is smaller, the intensity of electric field intensity is greater. The simulation for subsequent product design has a good theoretical guidance.

This paper calculates frequency electric field intensity by the equivalent charge method, and analyzes the main factors affecting the electromagnetic environment of the 500kV Double Circuit Transmission Lines. In the same electromagnetic transmission line calculation parameters, optimization of phase sequence can effectively reduce the frequency electric field intensity; with the increase of the distance, the line frequency electric field intensity significantly reduces away from the center line within 25m. Finally, the paper obtains the phase sequence arrangement with minimal impact on the electromagnetic environment and the minimum ground clearance meeting the environmental requirements.

The article gives an assessment of levels of the power of 50Hz frequency electromagnetic fields from different sources in the places of a person’s longest indoor and office environment stay - a workplace equipped with a personal computer, a desktop in the kitchen, a sofa in the living room. An electric field intensity and magnetic induction from different sources by their simultaneous operation were shown to be not added arithmetically; at the same time total indices of electromagnetic impact on a person are maximum at a workplace. The average evaluation of electric field intensity in this case can reach 160.5 V/m, the average evaluation of the level of magnetic induction is 0.3 mT.
