Abstract It is a great pleasure and honor for us as the Organizing Committee to welcome all of you to the 5th International Conference on Rebuilding Place (ICRP). The conference is held online from September 15 to 16, 2021, and hosted by the Department of Architecture and Planning, Universitas Syiah Kuala, Banda Aceh, in collaboration with Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Chulalongkorn University, and Institut Teknologi Sumatera (ITeRA). It was initially planned for 2020 in Banda Aceh, but the outbreak of Covid-19 has forced us to reschedule and shifted online. This year, the conference takes the opportunity to promote the central theme Rethinking Sustainable Environment in the Context of the COVID-19 Pandemic. The keynote speakers are Prof. Susan Roaf from Heriot-Watt University and Dr. Matthew Rofe from the University of South Australia. Invited speakers are Prof. TPr, Dr. Jamalunlaili Abdullah from Universiti Teknologi MARA Shah Alam, Malaysia, Assoc. Prof. Muna Hanim binti Abdul Samad from Universiti Sains Malaysia, Dr. Surapong Lertsithichai from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand and Dr. Laina Hilmasari from Universitas Syiah Kuala. The keynote and invited speakers have 30 minutes each to share insights on the theme, followed by a questions and answers (Q&A) session. (The 3rd ICAGRI 2021) The 3rd ICAGRI-2021 theme is “Sustainable Technologies for Enhancing Agricultural Productivity: Challenges and Current Scenario” Banda Aceh, 13 October 2021 Organized by: Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Syiah Kuala Supported by: Extended Preface The 3rd International Conference on Agriculture and Bioindustry (ICAGRI) is an international conference that brings leading international academia, researchers, policymakers, professionals and stakeholders in the domain of interest from around the world together. Various issues related to Environmental Studies, Soil and Earth Science, Sustainable Agriculture, Agricultural Biotechnology, Agricultural Engineering, Food Science, Animal Husbandry, Biodiversity, Biomaterial and Bioindustry and were discussed to accelerate innovation and technology of resource-based food security and local wisdom. The conference that organized by Agriculture Faculty, Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK) was held on October 13, 2021 in Banda Aceh, Indonesia. This year, due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the conference was carried out in the form of virtual conference to avoid personnel gatherings. Nevertheless, we can see the enthusiasm of the participants from the number of papers we received. In total, we received 174 submitted papers through submission system, while 59 submission papers were rejected due to irrelevant topics and content concerns. A total of 115 papers were accepted for presentations on the 3rd ICAGRI 2021. Selected papers were compiled into the proceeding after being reviewed rigorously. The conference was not postponed since it has been scheduled and planned for last 6 months. It also related with tight schedule of keynote and invited speakers. Moreover, it is regularly requested by researchers from previous ICAGRI to perform the conference as planned. It was conducted using Zoom platform and lively broadcast through YouTube platform. The conference started by keynote speakers’ presentations, and followed by invited speakers and participant presentations. There was a discussion session after each presentation. We are greatly honored to have Prof. Dr. Ir. Dedi Nursyamsi, M.Agr (representative of minister of agriculture Republic Indonesia), Prof. Dr. Fátima Baptista (University of Évora and MED, Portugal), Dr. Natsumi Kanzaki (Forestry and Forest Products Research Institute, Japan), Prof. Dr. Susanne Neugart (Georg-August-Universitát Gottingen, Germany). As the conference chair, we would like to thanks to the organizing committee, the international scientific committee, the reviewers, the editors, and the publisher for tremendous contribution on the 3rd ICAGRI 2021. First of all, COFRET is an acronym coming from the French expression “Colloque Francophone en Energie, Environnement, Economie et Thermodynamique”, meaning Conference on Energy, Environment, Economy and Thermodynamics. Thus, COFRET is a scientific event initiated in 2002 by an enthusiastic Franch-Romanian group with the aim of organizing a conference on energy, the environment, the economy and thermodynamics every two years, once in France and another time in Romania. Professor Michel Feidt from the University of Lorraine-France, and Professors Stoian Petrescu and Vsevolod Radcenco from the “Politehnica” University of Bucharest-Romania are the founders of this international conference of French-speaking origin. Since its creation, COFRET has sought to bring together specialists from academia and industry to present their achievements and thus, to create opportunities for collaboration in the fields of energy, environment, economy and thermodynamics. Abstract This volume of “IOP Conference Series: Material Science and Engineering” contains the selected papers presented at the 13th International Conference on Development and Modernization of the Manufacturing (RIM 2021), which was held in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) from 29th September to 1st October 2021. Since 1997, the Faculty of Technical Engineering of the University of Bihać has successfully organized and held 13 international scientific conferences RIM on a bi-annual basis in 4 different countries: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Egypt, and Montenegro. Some years back, around 2013, I was asked to write an article on the uses of the Bible in African law. Researching references to the Bible and biblical law across the African continent, I soon learned that, besides support for arguments by a few states in favor of declaring themselves “Christian nations,” the main use was in emerging debates over homosexuality and same-sex relationships—almost exclusively to condemn those relationships. In January 2013, the newly formed African Consortium for Law and Religion Studies (ACLARS) held its first international conference at the University of Ghana Legon. There, African sexuality debates emerged forcefully in consideration of a paper by Sylvia Tamale, then dean of the Makarere University School of Law in Uganda, who argued pointedly, “[P]olitical Christianity and Islam, especially, have constructed a discourse that suggests that sexuality is the key moral issue on the continent today, diverting attention from the real critical moral issues for the majority of Africans . . . . Employing religion, culture and the law to flag sexuality as the biggest moral issue of our times and dislocating the real issue is a political act and must be recognised as such.”

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to discuss the challenges and obstacles encountered in the implementation of a mentoring program for Master of Business Administration (MBA) students at the University of South Australia (UniSA) Business School. The paper starts with an exploration into the need for a mentoring program, the trial and subsequent four years of implementation. The paper also explores the network model of mentoring and the reasons why this, rather than a more traditional model, was chosen for the program’s implementation. Design/methodology/approach – This exploratory case study uses data from over 600 students and their alumni mentors over a five-year period to evaluate and improve the program as well as cultivating a critical community of adult learners. Findings – Feedback from students indicates that the mentoring program is regarded by most as a value-added feature of their early learning as it offers support, if and when it is required, from those who have been there before. Research limitations/implications – Results are limited to one institution. However, as research into mentoring for higher education students is thin on the ground, this study contributes to our understanding of the positive impacts of mentoring on student success. Practical implications – This paper emphasizes the importance of business leaders giving back to their alma mater through mentoring current MBA students. It shows how mentoring can support learning and management development. Originality/value – This is an original study which explores ways to increase the learning of higher education students for positive social outcomes.

The 3rd Legal Forum of Spatial Economy and Construction, entitled 'Special Investment and Construction Acts', was held on 31 May 2019 at the University of Gdańsk. It was organised by the Department of Administrative Law at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Gdańsk. The Chairman of the Scientific Committee of the Forum, and at the same time the originator of this series of Legal Forums on Spatial Economy and Construction has been Tomasz Bąkowski, PhD, professor of the University of Gdańsk, while the Organising Committee was led by Tomasz Bojar-Fijałkowski, PhD. The forum was held under the auspices of the presidents of Gdynia, Sopot and Gdańsk, its sponsor was the Energa Foundation, and its co-organiser was the Foundation for the Development of the University of Gdańsk. The event was attended by over 40 representatives of academic and professional circles representing the largest Polish university centres, as well as administration and judiciary bodies.
