Abstract The teaching factory (TEFA) in State Polytechnic of Malang (Polinema) attempts to address the replication of the real industrial process inside the traditional educational setting. In Polinema, the TEFA deals with the bottled mineral drinking water, and its supply chain starts from the water purifying until the marketing. A key aspect of achieving an economically and technically feasible production is the selection of wellspring as the source of raw material. The potential water sources are located at Wringinsongo, Ampeldento, Prigen, and Ngijo in Malang area. A decision support system is required to select the suitable source by integrating weighted tangible and intangible criteria, namely water quality, distance, and willingness to pay. Multicriteria decision-making by analytical hierarchy process is applied to assign criteria weight and select the source. The results demonstrate that Ngijo wellspring is recommended, followed by Wringinsongo, Ampeldento, and Prigen according to the performance value. The system could serve as a tool for the selection, instead of intuitive judgment with a better compromise for improving the TEFA productivity.

This study aims to be able to provide recommendations in the decision-making system related to the best lecturers at the Jakarta Chapter of the Indonesian Management Lecturer Forum. It is hoped that the research results can be used as input in the Best Lecturer decision making system with a more systematic system. This research was conducted through interviews, questionnaires and literature study related to the Lecturer profession. In the field, the assessment criteria are still rough, therefore this study must include all the criteria into the mechanism, rules, and codes. Analysis, each criterion is analyzed using the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method in weighting. The cumulative results of the recapitulation of scores show that teaching is still a top priority in the implementation of the Tridaharma of Lecturers, after that the second priority is research, then community service and finally support in the form of participation in supporting activities and scientific development.

Private companies, government agencies and educational institutions are still experiencing difficulties in selecting employees / employees who are in accordance with their needs and experts in their respective fields. With the increasing number of workers who have different abilities, recruiting new employees requires selection of prospective employees at Ekasakti University, because if this is done manually, it will make it difficult for the staff to receive and also be prone to mistakes in decision making. The decision making system method (Decisions Support System) can be used to help the selection of new employee recipients with the AHP Method. Selection of new employee admissions by the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method can help solve the case of selecting employee recruitment. The model of applying dynamic logic applied in the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) has the advantage that the selection process provides very flexible results

The paper presents a way of selecting flat or carbonated mineral waters depending on the purpose for which it wishes to be used. A good mineral water must meet certain physical and chemical qualities at certain temperatures and have the appropriate pH to have the desired therapeutic effect. The analysis of the purpose for which the selection of mineral waters is desired results in the characteristics of the water to be analyzed, compared, and for which a weight of their influence in the decision-making is established. For selected waters, the characteristics receive scores that will in turn influence the selection of the recommended type of mineral water. The conclusions of the paper allow the establishment of a certain type of mineral water for the characteristics imposed by the desired purpose.

This paper is designed to present the effectiveness of group multicriteria decision making in automotive manufacturing company focusing on the selection of suppliers in Malaysia. The process of selecting suppliers is one of the most critical and challenging endeavor in any supply chain management. There are five decision making tools being analyzed in this study, namely, analytical hierarchy process (AHP), fuzzy analytical hierarchy process (FAHP), technique for order performance by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS), fuzzy technique for order performance by similarity to ideal solution (FTOPSIS), and fuzzy analytical hierarchy process integrated with fuzzy technique for order performance by similarity to ideal solution (FAHPiFTOPSIS). The scores of ranking among the suppliers in each MCDM tools (AHP, FAHP, TOPSIS, FTOPSIS, and FAHPiFTOPSIS) show significantly comparable variation. Scores of the best supplier is then compared to the lowest supplier for all MCDM tools whereby this reflects that the highest percentage goes to TOPSIS with scoring of 79.37%. On the contrary, FAHPiFTOPSIS demonstrated the lowest score variation of 22.42% which indicates that FAHPiFTOPSIS is able to eliminate biasness in supplier selection process.
