It is hoped that the research results can be used as input in the Best Lecturer decision making system with a more systematic system. This research was conducted through interviews, questionnaires and literature study related to the Lecturer profession. In the field, the assessment criteria are still rough, therefore this study must include all the criteria into the mechanism, rules, and codes. Analysis, each criterion is analyzed using the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method in weighting. The cumulative results of the recapitulation of scores show that teaching is still a top priority in the implementation of the Tridaharma of Lecturers, after that the second priority is research, then community service and finally support in the form of participation in supporting activities and scientific development.

Background/Objective: Asia-Pacific Initiative for Rheumatology nurse Education (ASPIRE) is a faculty-led initiative established to meet the educational needs of rheumatology nurses in Asia Pacific in recognition of the expanding role of nurses in daily rheumatology clinical practice. The objective of this study is to measure the impact of ASPIRE workshop training on nurses’ levels of knowledge, confidence, attitudes and beliefs using a Before-after-control-impact (BACI) survey. Methods: A total of 210 nurses who completed both pre- and post-surveys were included in the BACI analysis. The intervention group (n = 111) refers to nurses who attended the ASPIRE workshop training held during the China Chronic Disease Management Forum in Baotou, Inner Mongolia in September 2019 whereas the control group (n = 99) refers to Chinese nurses that have never attended the ASPIRE training. Results: Overall level of knowledge significantly increased by 30% (5.63 pre- vs. 8.34 post-survey; p < .001), and overall level of confidence significantly increased by 29% among nurses who attended ASPIRE training (5.83 pre- vs. 8.39 post-survey; p < .001). Nurses in the control group demonstrated no significant increase in knowledge (6.18 pre- vs. 6.50 post-survey; p = .097) or confidence (6.46 pre- vs. 6.71 post-survey; p = .169) over the same period.}Conclusions: Nurses who attended the ASPIRE training workshop reported a significant increase in their levels of knowledge and confidence compared with a control group of nurses who have never undergone ASPIRE training. Training rheumatology nurses to acquire more in-depth knowledge and skills can help optimize their role in clinical practice to meet the greater demands of disease monitoring and long-term management of rheumatology patients.

This article aimed to assess the future of archivists and records managers in South Africa. It is a fact that information communication technology (ICT) has impacted the management and preservation of records. Most of South Africa’s archivists and records managers were trained to manage paper-based records. The growth of electronic records has overtaken the ability of the records and archives management professionals to develop electronic records management systems (ERMS). The digital era requires archivists and records managers’ roles regarding the management of records to change to include ERMS. Reviewing and updating the job descriptions of archivists and records managers will not only assist in evaluating their current responsibilities and job functions but also in strategically choosing new responsibilities, expectations and job titles. This will benefit organisations so that they can understand and assist in building a case for adapting and elevating the positions of archivists and records managers. Archivists and records managers can elevate their roles and the profession by collaborating with cross-disciplinary role players to show their value and prove their worth to key stakeholders and decision-making individuals. The case study was chosen as the method of the study. The data were collected through interviews and analysis of documents. A total of 10 records managers were selected for the interviews during the annual Mpumalanga Records Management Forum. The study recommends that archivists and records managers adopt ERMS as a strategy for managing records and archives in collaboration with ICT specialists. Archivists and records managers play an important role in designing key organisational information systems and reviewing job descriptions.
