Vacations Are Good for Your HealthA study published in the journal of Psychosomatic Medicine showed that vacations may indeed be good for your health. The middle-aged men in the study who took an annual vacation had a reduced risk of mortality in general, and of coronary heart disease. As a neonatal nurse, few of you are middle-aged men, but the insights offered by the study may apply to all of us. We need vacations to get away from the stress of daily life.
