In the real world, a large number of social systems can be modeled as signed social networks including both positive and negative relationships. Influence maximization in signed social networks is an interesting and significant research direction, which has gained some attention. All of existing studies mainly focused on positive influence maximization (PIM) problem. The goal of the PIM problem is to select the seed set with maximum positive influence in signed social networks. However, the selected seed set with maximum positive influence may also has a large amount of negative influence, which will cause bad effects in the real applications. Therefore, maximizing purely positive influence is not the final and best goal in signed social networks. In this paper, we introduce the concept of net positive influence and propose the net positive influence maximization (NPIM) problem for signed social networks, to select the seed set with as much positive influence as possible and as less negative influence as possible. Additionally, we prove that the objective function of NPIM problem under polarity-related independent cascade model is non-monotone and non-submodular, which means the traditional greedy algorithm is not applicable to the NPIM problem. Thus, we propose an improved R-Greedy algorithm to solve the NPIM problem. Extensive experiments on two Epinions and Slashdot datasets indicate the differences between positive influence and net positive influence, and also demonstrate that our proposed solution performs better than the state-of-the-art methods in terms of promoting net positive influence diffusion in less running time.

The paper presents the analysis of the data received from the survey of heads of industrial enterprises and also experts-researchers in 2003-2004. The data describe the economic state of enterprises and their position in competitive, administrative, intermediary, financial etc. environment. The assumption of essential heterogeneity of the set of industrial enterprises, including enterprises of the same sector or the same territorial formation is confirmed. It is shown that Russian industrial enterprises as a rule do not feel influence of the stock market situation while the condition of the currency market influences the majority of enterprises. The sensitivity of enterprises depends on their economic situation: the better is the state, the stronger is the influence. Weak influence of the investment and administrative environment on the state of enterprises and negative influence of the activity of intermediary organizations are registered. More than 2/3 of the respondents consider important strengthening of the responsibility of large proprietors for inefficient activity of their enterprises. Lack of the strategic approach in the activity of authorities of all levels is ascertained and the necessity of development and realization of industrial policy at all administrative levels, including the municipal one, is shown.

In this paper the author presents a case of a narcissistic adolescent boy with crippling anxieties and multiple inhibitions, where the contributing intergenerational history of self-difficulties had infiltrated the parental couple's "selfdyad" in a way that could not be adequately contained. Having lost much of the capacity for the mutual selfobject relatedness that is required for a good enough selfdyad regulation, the parents' introjects were then split off and re-projected into their child. The author demonstrates a way of working in the treatment with the use of multiple psychoanalytic therapies, individual, couple, and family modalities. Furthermore, he elaborates a rationale for such a format, especially for those cases in which the intergenerational family projection-linking functions are especially salient and continue to exert a negative influence on the identified patient.

Pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) is a chronic disease that can bring about the sufferer's self-stigma and also affect his quality of life. A number of studies report that living with TB has a negative influence on the quality of life of sufferers even with or without self-stigma. The purpose of this study was to identify the quality of life of TB patients who experienced self-stigma. This research is a descriptive study, sample were 31 pulmonary TB patients. Data was collected using a questionnaire. Data analyzed by using frequency distribution and percentage. The researcher first screened TB patients who experienced self-stigma. The results showed that 25 people (80.64%) respondents experienced mild self-stigma. A total of 9 respondents (36%) had a quality of life score in the good category and as many as 16 respondents (64%) had enough category with an average quality of life score is 56.57. While respondents who had moderate self-stigma were 6 people (19.36%) with a good quality of life score was 1 person (16.67%) and enough category quality of life score were 5 people (83.33%) with an average quality of life score is 49.92.
