Esta tese de doutorado apresenta contribuições para a solução do problema de Planejamento da Expansão da Transmissão de Energia Elétrica (PET) considerando incertezas e alocação ótima de Dispositivos de Armazenamento de Energia (DAE), dentre estes: (i) uma metodologia para solucionar o PET de forma robusta em relação aos cenários de despacho de geração eólica e contingência, satisfazendo o critério de segurança N-1; (ii) uma metodologia para solucionar o PET considerando um horizonte de planejamento dinâmico e restrições de confiabilidade e de uso adequado da energia eólica disponível; (iii) dois algoritmos de agrupamento de séries históricas, o modified Iterative Self-Organizing Data Analysis Technique Algorithm (m-ISODATA) e o Algoritmo de Agrupamento de Períodos Representativos (AAPR), propostos para obter os cenários representativos para problemas de planejamento e operação de sistemas de energia que levam em conta incertezas a curto prazo, respectivamente para problemas não-cronológicos e cronológicos; (iv) uma metodologia para solucionar o problema de PET e alocação ótima de DAEs de forma desacoplada, permitindo a solução simultânea de cada cenário cronológico.

To protect crops from diseases and increase yields, chemical agents are applied by boom sprayers. To achieve the optimal effect, the boom and the crop canopy should be kept at an appropriate distance. So, it is crucial to be able to distinguish the crop canopy from other plant leaves. Based on ultrasonic ranging, this paper adopts the fuzzy iterative self-organizing data analysis technique algorithm to identify the canopy location. According to the structural characteristics of the crop canopy, based on fuzzy clustering, the algorithm can dynamically adjust the number and center of clusters so as to get the optimal results. Therefore, the distances from the sensor to the canopy or the ground can be accurately acquired, and the influence of lower leaves on the measurement results can be alleviated. Potted corn plants from the 3-leaf stage to the 6-leaf stage were tested on an experiment bench. The results showed that the calculated distances from the sensor to the canopy using this method had good correlation with the manually measured distances. The maximum error of calculated values appeared at the 3-leaf stage. With the growth of plants, the error of calculated values decreased. The increased sensor moving speeds led to increased error due to the reduced data points. From the 3-leaf stage to the 5-leaf stage, the distances from the sensor to the ground can also be obtained at the same time. The method proposed in this paper provides a practical resolution to localize the canopy for adjusting the height of sprayer boom.

This research is a school action research that aims to improve teacher achievement through academicsupervision. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 009 Teluk Pauh, Cirenti District. The subjects of thisstudy were teachers of SD Negeri 009 Teluk Pauh, Cirenti Subdistrict with a total number of 12 people,consisting of 4 men and 8 women. This research was carried out in two cycles carried out based on the stages ofplanning, implementation and reflection. The data used is physical data. The average data analysis technique isdescriptive method. The results showed that teacher achievement motivation in the first cycle was 60.1% withgood categories and the cycle increased to 81.6% with very good categories.

AbstractThis study was conducted to the influents of the Islamic symbolisms toward the decision of consumption buying of the food products. This is a quantitative research. A survey was also involved in this research. Data are also collected through questionnaire to gain an accurate information. Data analysis technique used was a simple regression. The research findings show that Islamic symbolisms have significant influents toward decision to buy food products. That is, t value of p significant is < 0,005 (0,000 < 0, 05) while R square is 0,273 or 27,3 %. In conclusion the influents of Islamic symbols toward the decision on buying have influents as of 27, 3 %. Keywords: Islamic Symbolism, Decision on buying, food products.

<em><span lang="EN-US">This study aims to determine the magnitude of the influence of leadership and competence on the organizational performance of PT. Samick Indonesia. This study uses Simple Random Sampling. The population in this study were employees of PT. Samick Indonesia. With 156 samples. Data collection techniques using questionnaires which then have been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis technique used to answer the hypothesis is multiple regression. The results of this study indicate that, Leadership is able to improve Organizational Performance. Competence is able to improve organizational performance thus it can be concluded that leadership and competence have a positive and significant influence on the organizational performance of PT. Samick Indonesia.</span></em>
