The development of technology at this time allows everyone to exchange information without any limitation of time and distance. The possibility that data leakage will occur during the process of exchanging information is carried out, therefore in sending data especially images, security aspects, confidentiality and efficiency of data storage is very necessary. If the important information falls into the wrong hands, it will cause unwanted things, for example manipulation of images with negative shapes and can harm the owner of the image. One method used to maintain data security is cryptography using one of the techniques, Elgamal. The strength of this algorithm lies in the difficulty of calculating discrete algorithms on prime integers in which multiplication operations are performed. In this research, the writer combines Hill Cipher to do image encryption and Elgamal Algorithm to decrypt the key of Hill Cipher. The image is first encrypted using the Hill Cipher, then the Hill Cipher key is encrypted using the Elgamal Algorithm. The implementation of the system uses the programming language Visual Basic Net 2010. The results of the implementation with the initial encrypted image has 4282.85 milliseconds with random images, while the encrypted image will be re-described as having 20442.84 milliseconds with the image returned to the beginning.

A selective bit-plane encryption scheme was proposed for securing the transmission of image data in mobile environments with a claim that it provides a high security viz. the encryption of the four most significant bit-planes is sufficient for a high image data security. This paper presents the security analysis of the said encryption scheme and reports new important results. We perform the security analysis of the bit-level encryption by considering the normal images and their histogram equalised enhanced images. We consider different bit-plane aspects to analyse the security of the image encryption, and show that the encryption of the four most significant bit-planes is not adequate. The contents of the images can be obtained even when all the bit-planes except one least significant bit-plane are encrypted in the histogram equalised images as shown in the results. The bit-plane level security analysis seems very useful for the analysis of the bit-plane level image encryption schemes.

Due to the rapid evaluation in the field of communications and multimedia and the increasing use of the Internet, multimedia data security has become very urgent. of the best alternative way to achieve multimedia data security is encryption, which prevents unauthorized entities from accessing confidential data. In recent years, the chaotic system of image encryption becomes an efficient way to encrypt images due to its high security. It has certain special properties like sensitivity to initial conditions, and control parameters, pseudorandom, ergodicity, and non-convergence, etc. chaotic dynamics systems became a promising alternative to traditional encryption algorithms. In this paper, This paper presents a new algorithm for the image encryption/decryption scheme depended on a  novel six-dimensional hyper-chaotic system to achieve a high level of security, the chaotic sequence generated from system employ for permutation and diffusion the original image to create an encrypted image.  The performance of  the algorithm has been analyzed through analyzes statistical such  as  Histogram  Analysis,  Correlation  Coefficient  Analysis,  Information  Entropy Analysis, Key Space Analysis, Key Sensitivity Analysis, Number of Pixels Change Rate (NPCR), Unified Average Changing Intensity (UACI), Peak Signal to Noise Ratio, The experimental results show that the algorithm has good encryption performance, large keyspace equals to  and the high sensitivity  for  small  changes  in  secret key  which makes  the  algorithm  immune  to Brute  force  attacks,  and  it  can  resist  the  statistical  attacks, therefore,  the presented  encryption  algorithm depends on a novel hyperchaotic system is more secure against the statistical and differential attacks.

The work focuses mainly on data security problems while transferring data through a network, using text-to-image encryption. This         approach creates an image out of the textual data using steganography, which allows the sender and the intended recipient to hide their confidential data while transmitting through the network. First, binary representations of the text data are made, then the binary data is used to create an image by using it as pixel intensities. This image is then merged with a colour image to obtain the final encrypted image. The main objective of the work is to demonstrate an encryption scheme that is reliable and easy to implement.

Data security is very important data needed to stay awake in strict confidence from hacker intrusion or criminals who want to steal the data. Data security methods that are used in this paper is a digital image encryption by using a modified Hill’s code which is done by changing the way of encryption. If we are using Hill’s code then matrix pixel multiplied is the key matrix while on the modification Hill’s code before the key matrix then the matrix is multiplied pixels must be added to the results of the main diagonal elements of the matrix times key. The results obtained in the process of digital image encoding indicating that the image is encoded with password modification results of modified Hill's code more mixed reviews when compared to the image that was encoded with password Hill so that more effective in securing data in the form of a digital image. The size of the image file using the encoding results in a modification password Hill is smaller than ordinary password Hill with a percentage decrease of 4.6 % so more ease in delivery through electronic media Keyword: Digital image, modified Hill code, encryption, description

Abstract:The increased use of computers is a response to the considerable growth in information in all fields of activities. Related to this, in the field of medicine a new component appeared about 40 years ago: Medical Informatics. Its goals are to assist health care professionals in the choice of data to manage and in the choice of applications of such data. These possibilities for data management must be well understood and, related to this, two major dangers must be emphasized. One concerns data security, and the other concerns the processing of these data. This paper discusses these items and warns of the inappropriate use of medical informatics.

The problems encountered in achieving data security within computer-supported information systems increased with the development of modern computer systems. The threats are manifold and have to be met by an appropriate set of hardware precautions, organizational procedures and software measures which are the topic of this paper. Design principles and software construction rules are treated first, since the security power of a system is considerably determined by its proper design. A number of software techniques presented may support security mechanisms ranging from user identification and authentication to access control, auditing and threat monitoring. Encryption is a powerful tool for protecting data during physical storage and transmission as well.Since an increasing number of health information systems with information-integrating functions are database-supported, the main issues and terms of database systems and their specific security aspects are summarized in the appendix.

Data security and confidentiality is currently a very important issue and continues to grow. Several cases concerning data security are now a job that requires handling and security costs that are so large. To maintain the security and confidentiality of messages, data, or information so that no one can read or understand it, except for the rightful recipients, a data security system application with an encryption method using an algorithm is designed. The SHA-1 cryptographic hash function that takes input and produces a 160-bit hash value which is known as the message iteration is usually rendered as a 40-digit long hexadecimal number.
