The parallel system is a kind of scientific research method based on an artificial system and computational experiments, which can not only reflect the dynamic process of the real system but also optimize its control process in real time. Given the rapid development of wind energy technology, how to shorten the development and deployment cycle and decrease the programming difficulties of wind energy conversion system (WECS) are major issues for improving the utilization of this form of energy. In this paper, the Data Engine is used as a computing environment to form a parallel WECS for studying the engineering application of WECS. With the support of the programming methods of graphical component configurations, visualization technology and dynamic reconfiguration technology, a maximum power point tracking (MPPT) computing experiment of the parallel WECS is carried out. After comparing with MATLAB simulation results, the parallel WECS is verified as having good performance. The Data Engine is an ideal computing unit for modeling and computation of the parallel system and can establish a parallel relationship between the artificial system and the real system so as to achieve the optimal control of WECS.

This article describes proposed content of an online toolkit for users of the work system modeling method (WSMM), an extension of the work system method (WSM), which was developed to help business professionals understand IT-reliant systems and collaborate with IT professionals. A summary of work system theory (WST) and WSM provides a background. A two-dimensional design space for modeling methods illustrates WSMM's context. Two limitations of WSMM imply the need for a toolkit that overcomes those limitations. An auto rental example is used to illustrate a series of modeling, analysis, and design modules related to different stakeholder purposes. Most of the modules reflect components of Word documents used as outlines to produce over 700 management briefings, mostly by MBA and Executive MBA students, between 2003 and 2017. A concluding section summarizes the main ideas, explains how the use of different modules based on the work system metaphor flexibly supports systems analysis and design, and identifies challenges for future research.

Parallel battlefield Test Research Based on ACP method is an important means to test the operational effectiveness and operational applicability of equipment system. It is a new type of equipment test carried out by our army under the background of the new military revolution in the world. Parallel battlefield test based on ACP method is an effective means of test management and control through the combination of physical and computational tests and complementary of actual military system and artificial military system. Aiming at the problem that the equipment performance test and in-service assessment test cannot reflect the combat effectiveness in real battlefield environment, combined with the theory of parallel test method, the framework system of space parallel battlefield test system based on ACP method is proposed, and its artificial system modeling, computational experiment design and parallel execution mechanism are studied respectively.
