Along with the development, the application can be used as a medium for learning. Augmented Reality is a technology that combines two-dimensional’s virtual objects and three-dimensional’s virtual objects into a real three-dimensional’s  then projecting the virtual objects in real time and simultaneously. The introduction of Solar System’s material, students are invited to get to know the planets which are directly encourage students to imagine circumtances in the Solar System. Explenational of planets form and how the planets make the revolution and rotation in books are considered less material’s explanation because its only display objects in 2D. In addition, students can not practice directly in preparing the layout of the planets in the Solar System. By applying Augmented Reality Technology, information’s learning delivery can be clarified, because in these applications are combined the real world and the virtual world. Not only display the material, the application also display images of planets in 3D animation’s objects with audio.

Augmented reality is defined as the technology in which virtual objects are blended with the real world and also interact with each other. Although augmented reality applications are used in many areas, the most important of these areas is the field of education. AR technology allows the combination of real objects and virtual information in order to increase students’ interaction with physical environments and facilitate their learning. Developing technology enables students to learn complex topics in a fun and easy way through virtual reality devices. Students interact with objects in the virtual environment and can learn more about it. For example; by organizing digital tours to a museum or zoo in a completely different country, lessons can be taught in the company of a teacher as if they were there at that moment. In the light of all these, this study is a compilation study. In this context, augmented reality technologies were introduced and attention was drawn to their use in different fields of education with their examples. As a suggestion at the end of the study, it was emphasized that the prepared sections should be carefully read by the educators and put into practice in their lessons. In addition it was also pointed out that it should be preferred in order to communicate effectively with students by interacting in real time, especially during the pandemic process.

In recent years, Augmented Reality has become a very popular topic, both as a research and commercial field. This trend has originated with the use of mobile devices as computational core and display. The appearance of virtual objects and their interaction with the real world is a key element in the success of an Augmented Reality software. A common issue in this type of software is the visual inconsistency between the virtual and real objects due to wrong illumination. Although illumination is a common research topic in Computer Graphics, few studies have been made about real time estimation of illumination direction. In this work we present a low-cost approach to detect the direction of the environment illumination, allowing the illumination of virtual objects according to the real light of the ambient, improving the integration of the scene. Our solution is open-source, based on Arduino hardware and the presented system was developed on Android.

Augmented reality (AR) is a useful visualization technology that displays information by adding virtual images to the real world. In AR systems that require three-dimensional information, point cloud data is easy to use after real-time acquisition, however, it is difficult to measure and visualize real-time objects due to the large amount of data and a matching process. In this paper we explored a method of estimating pipes from point cloud data and visualizing them in real-time through augmented reality devices. In general, pipe estimation in a point cloud uses a Hough transform and is performed through a preprocessing process, such as noise filtering, normal estimation, or segmentation. However, there is a disadvantage in that the execution time is slow due to a large amount of computation. Therefore, for the real-time visualization in augmented reality devices, the fast cylinder matching method using random sample consensus (RANSAC) is required. In this paper, we proposed parallel processing, multiple frames, adjustable scale, and error correction for real-time visualization. The real-time visualization method through the augmented reality device obtained a depth image from the sensor and configured a uniform point cloud using a voxel grid algorithm. The constructed data was analyzed according to the fast cylinder matching method using RANSAC. The real-time visualization method through augmented reality devices is expected to be used to identify problems, such as the sagging of pipes, through real-time measurements at plant sites due to the spread of various AR devices.

Abstract Nowadays oil & gas industry is receiving a bulk of data than ever before from its onsite wells where may hundred miles away from operator's headquarter, which benefits us monitoring and analyzing those digital fortune in a data hub, saving a lot of expenditure and improving the efficiency compared to old-fashioned approach which requires senior engineers with rich experience working on wellsite. In this way, the oil & gas operators save money tremendously on human cost under the booming of drilling operations. While, could we do more to dig out further values from those data? Make our operations less dependable on limited resources, the senior drilling engineers, especially when the oil and gas industry face the chasm of human resources sustainability after the hit of downturn, also make the plain real-time data more intuitive and self-explanatory to the operation decision makers in an unprecedented way. What's more, could we make our drilling activities more visible and interactive? This paper is going to introduce using augmented reality technology to create an intuitive platform to integrate and present real-time operation parameters and data. Like any revolutionary method or technology, it could improve the industry efficiency in a non-negligible way, help us manage massive real-time data more effectively and efficiently. The 3D holographic projection presents dynamic models or systems based on the data stream and graphic algorithm, which evolves our industry from 2D world to 3D world, combining the reality environment with the digital world, creating a digital reflection of the real wellsite, bottom hole assembly (BHA), well trajectories, lithological layers, etc. Thanks to the visualization technologies and augmented reality, we can create a digital twin of physic world for those engineers, technicians, managers using holographic method to interact with, scale up and down, analyzing in a better awareness. In this paper, we will describe a digital drilling wellsite which is established on operator's Real Time Operation Center (RTOC)office to monitor and analyze live field operations, the operator could have an overview of their on-site operations, tracking the equipment performance, engineering parameters and downhole status to enhance the understanding and interaction with the on-going field operations. The wellbore trajectory model gives the team a superior knowledge by combining the engineering data or geological data. Not only help well placement in desired reservoir but also improve the anti-collision concept in direction drilling. This model is extreme meaningful when engineers need a discussion to optimize or change their drilling plan as it is 3D visible and able to interact with. We will continues digging out further more value of the real-time data collected from wellsite to educate us find the cost-saving ways which improve our performance and eliminate the complicated conditions that normally resulted in Non production time (NPT) event. For our oil & gas industry, we are just start to have a more adventure and prosperous journey in digitalizing transforming.

The authors have designed an augmented reality based rigid body motion experiment system (ARRBMES), which could capture the physical motion information from the interaction between the users and virtual rigid bodies in real-time. The launcher and the container of the rigid bodies in this system are all positioned by tag cards, and the initial physical quantities of the rigid bodies are captured and analyzed through the motion information of the launcher tag card. Then ARRBMES will realize the real-time display of rigid body motion and collision events in a virtual-real fusion environment. ARRBMES can simulate the motion of rigid bodies in ideal state which cannot be achieved in the real world. As a result, the users can obtain realistic experience and the system can increase their physical intuition and cognitive experience. Moreover, ARRBMES can obtain physical information from the interaction in real-time between users and the system, which makes it a special Cyber-Physical System.
