Electronic activities are realized on the Internet due to the growth of the Internet. As conference organization is getting more popular, we proposed an electronic virtual conference system (EVCS) to handle all activities of real-world conferences. The EVCS includes a virtual conference management system (VCMS) and a mobile conferencing system (MCS). Video conferencing is a trend of future communications. With the improvement of broadband network technologies, video conferencing becomes possible in the global society. It is feasible to use video conferencing technologies to organize future international conferences. As such, transportation and accommodation costs are saved. This paper proposed a total solution toward virtual conferencing. We use a mobile server/storage pre-broadcasting technique, as well as a communication network optimization algorithm, which is based on a graph computation mechanism. The system also relies on a network bandwidth reservation facility as well as a multicasting control function. With the assistance of the virtual conference management system, the system is able to support virtual conferencing in the future academic society.

On-Line Analytical Processing (OLAP) systems based on data warehouses are the main systems for managerial decision making and must have a quick response time. Several algorithms have been presented to select the proper set of data and elicit suitable structured environments to handle the queries submitted to OLAP systems, which are called view selection algorithms to materialize. As users’ requirements may change during run time, materialization must be viewed dynamically. In this work, the authors propose and operate a dynamic view management system to select and materialize views with new and improved architecture, which predicts incoming queries through association rule mining and three probabilistic reasoning approaches: Conditional probability, Bayes’ rule, and Naïve Bayes’ rule. The proposed system is compared with DynaMat system and Hybrid system through two standard measures. Experimental results show that the proposed dynamic view selection system improves these measures. This system outperforms DynaMat and Hybrid for each type of query and each sequence of incoming queries.

Abstract Learning systems need help to support progress in the field of education. Problems that exist in Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru Vocational School have not yet implemented a Learning Management System (LMS) system that has an impact on students and teachers, compilation teachers cannot discuss learning jams certainly greatly affect students, teachers who are unable to attend specifically at teaching hours. Learning methods by implementing Learning Management Systems that will run on the Ubuntu Server 16.04 LTS Linux operating system. The system contains features such as Moodle, Big BlueButton, and Video Confrence needed in the teaching and learning process. By using the Learning Management System the teacher can manage classes and exchange information with students. Using labor can use learning and video conferencing management systems to keep discussing and providing learning material to students when attending is present at the time of learning using the internet. Keywords: LMS, Server Cluster, Moodle, Big bluebutton, Muhammadiyah 2 Vocational School Pekanbaru AbstrakSistem pembelajaran membutuhkan suatu inovasi guna untuk mendukung kemajuan dibidang pendidikan. The article is devoted to the question of organizing distance learning for future philologists through the Internet technologies. The author’s experience in conducting practical classes via the video conferencing platform Zoom and organizing the students’ individual work using the learning management system Canvas has been described. Recommendations on how to prepare for the practical classes have been given; the main advantages of the video conferencing platform Zoom have been enumerated; the examples of the tasks performed by students during synchronous learning have been given. The choice of the learning management system Canvas has been preconditioned by the author’s positive experience in organizing the process of teaching ESP monologue production to future mechanical engineers. Features specific to Canvas (shared access, calendar of the events, discussions and announcements section, accumulation of the performed tasks, etc.) have been looked into; the advantages of using Canvas (flexibility, compatibility with numerous mobile devices and various operating systems, use of the system regardless location and time zone, 24/7 availability, facilitating the student’s choice of the individual educational trajectory etc.) have been considered. The examples of the tasks posted by the teacher have been given. The assessment of the students’ work was carried out according to the existing rating system regarding the peculiarities of distance learning. Thus, the students’ work during the practical classes using the video conferencing platform Zoom and their out-of-class individual work using Canvas has been assessed. A survey among the participants of the educational process has been conducted. The results of the survey have revealed a positive attitude to the organization of distance learning with the use of the video conferencing platform Zoom and the learning management system Canvas.
