Background. Hemangiopericytoma (HPC) which is mostly located at the lower extremity and visceral organs was found extremely rare in the central nervous system. Radiological images are not enough to differentiate HPC from other CNS tumours.  The case was analyzed to determine presurgical features for diagnosis and the challenges during surgery. Case. A 65-year-old male patient with headache was diagnosed as Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM) considering the image findings. However, the intraoperative macroscopic shape and tendency to bleeding were not relevant to the GBM. The mass was reported as Hemangiopericytoma which is a malign tumour, originates from pericapillary bodies of veins, and commonly locates out of the CNS. Conclusion. Even in advanced age and radiologically considered high-grade glial tumours, HPC should be considered in the differential diagnosis for preoperative preparation.

Peer-to-Peer (P2P) lending brings many benefits for both lenders and borrowers, as well as risk for them, especially for the lenders. To help the lenders select a reliable P2P lending platform with high return and low risk, a more comprehensive selection method is necessary. However, vast information with fluctuant, fuzzy and subjective data on the P2P lending platform make it more difficult for lenders to make the right choice. This paper intends to propose a selection method by using intuitionistic fuzzy soft set to organize the data, and using D-S theory of evidence to integrate the intuitionistic fuzzy values. Besides, the paper analyses the critical factors affecting the lenders’ decision, and presents some indicators for evaluating. Finally, an empirical experiment was given by choosing several P2P lending platforms with real data, and the results are compared with the intuitionistic fuzzy weighted average and Development Index from Wangdaizhijia, that verify the validity and superiority of the proposed method.

<p><em>The article, basing on the analysis of selected media texts with reference to narrative from the leading Ukrainian newspapers «Dzerkalo Tyzhnia» (Weekly Mirror), «Den» (Day), «Ukraina Moloda» (Young Ukraine) for 2016–2020, the semantic and content characteristics of the «narrative», «strategic narrative», «small narratives» nominations has established; the directions of the semantic realization of the meaning of the narrative and its possibilities in the process of international strategic communications aimed at both external and internal audience, are outlined. It is proved that the main task of a strategic, or national, narrative is a reasoned explanation to the state population and interested audiences of specific realities, intentions, plans; justification of certain directions of state activity aimed at partners, at opponents and those occupying a neutral position.</em></p><p><em>There are divided the spheres of use of different narratological nominations: in international communications and in scientific discourse, the conceptual foundations of state identity and international interaction are referred to as strategic narrative or grand narrative, in publicistic discourse the narrative nomination is used, more rarely – historical narrative, national narrative.</em></p><p><em>The scientific novelty of the research is that the focus is on the media aspect of the use of one of the key concepts of strategic communications and the role of the media in its implementation.</em></p><p><em>The main general scientific methods used in this article are descriptive and comparative ones, as well as analysis and synthesis. The following empirical methods were also used: solid selection method (solid selection method for allocation texts with the «narrative» lexeme; quantitative method of content analysis with elements of qualitative one – for characterizing the semantic of the «narrative» term).</em></p><p><em>The results of the study can be used in the complex research of the technology of international strategic communications and in the practical activity of specialists in international strategic communications, a new trend in Ukraine, which is currently under active institutionalization.</em></p><strong><em>Key words:</em></strong><em> international strategic communications, propaganda, narrative, strategic narrative, grand narrative, «small narratives».</em>

The structure of the summer planktonic communities of the Northern part of the Barents sea in the first half of August 2017 were studied. In the sea-ice melting area, the average phytoplankton biomass producing upper 50-meter layer of water reached values levels of eutrophic waters (up to 2.1 g/m3). Phytoplankton was presented by diatoms of the genera Thalassiosira and Eucampia. Maximum biomass recorded at depths of 22–52 m, the absolute maximum biomass community (5,0 g/m3) marked on the horizon of 45 m (station 5558), located at the outlet of the deep trench Franz Victoria near the West coast of the archipelago Franz Josef Land. In ice-free waters, phytoplankton abundance was low, and the weighted average biomass (8.0 mg/m3 – 123.1 mg/m3) corresponded to oligotrophic waters and lower mesotrophic waters. In the upper layers of the water population abundance was dominated by small flagellates and picoplankton from, biomass – Arctic dinoflagellates (Gymnodinium spp.) and cold Atlantic complexes (Gyrodinium lachryma, Alexandrium tamarense, Dinophysis norvegica). The proportion of Atlantic species in phytoplankton reached 75%. The representatives of warm-water Atlantic complex (Emiliania huxleyi, Rhizosolenia hebetata f. semispina, Ceratium horridum) were recorded up to 80º N, as indicators of the penetration of warm Atlantic waters into the Arctic basin. The presence of oceanic Atlantic species as warm-water and cold systems in the high Arctic indicates the strengthening of processes of “atlantificacion” in the region.
