At the moment, all observed forms of communication are reduced either to a person-to-person scheme or person-to-device. But the Internet of Things (IoT) offers us a tremendous Internet future, in which will appear the communication type machine-machine (M2M). This makes it possible to integrate all communications into a common infrastructure, allowing not only to manage everything that is around us but also providing information about the state of these things. The purpose of this paper is to create the client part of the client-server system for remote control of home appliances using cloud services through commands entered using handwritten words. For this, we develop algorithms and methods for handwriting recognition using neural networks and implement a mobile application on the Android platform, which allows remote control of devices via cloud services based on commands entered using handwritten words. Anyway, this article will give a good understanding to other researchers who want to start their research on the IoT and will contribute to the effective accumulation of knowledge.

The increase in garbage production today is due to the exponential growth of the population worldwide, due to the fact that thousands of tons of garbage are generated daily around the world, but the mismanagement that gives them has become an environmental problem since 33% of all the garbage generated is not recycled, for that reason it is estimated that within the next three decades the amount of waste worldwide will increase to 70%. That is why in the present research work it is proposed to make an intelligent system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) that allows monitoring the garbage containers in real time representing with percentages the state of these containers and these can be collected in time by garbage trucks, and thus avoid the increase of garbage in the streets and the various types of problems that these would cause. As a result, it was obtained that the System does comply with the established conditions because it allows to monitor in real time representing by percentages the state of the garbage container, which indicates 40% as almost full and 80% indicates that it is already available for collection. Finally, it is concluded that using the Garbage Container Monitoring System will allow to better optimize the collection process and, in addition, the problems that are usually perceived today due to the amount of garbage that are registered in the streets will decrease. The development of Internet technologies allows remote control of various devices. The paper presents a description of a greenhouse microclimate control device with remote control. There are used the concept of the Internet of Things, which allows to remotely control devices using cloud services. The Internet of Things is one of the popular trends in the networking environment allowing data to be transferred between devices. There is no need to write a program to transfer data, it is enough to use one of the many existing cloud services. The cloud service records the microclimate parameters and displays them on-line on the user's computer or phone. The user can observe the data received from the sensors installed in the greenhouse and control the executive devices, namely, turn on and off the heating, irrigation, lighting and opening of the vents. The device under development will help not only take the microclimate indicators in the room and transfer them via the Internet to a personal computer or telephone while being remote from the measurement object, but also control the actuators inside the greenhouse. The functional requirements for the developed device are determined, the block diagram of the device is shown, the main element of which is the Arduino Uno board, on which not only the microcontroller is located, but also the connectors of external devices. The user interface is presented and described, which provides interaction between a user and a control object, developed in the IoControl cloud service, and the stages of its development are also presented. The modes of microclimate control and the corresponding actuators and variables are considered.

IoT or the Internet of things refers to all the physical devices connected to the internet. IoT consists of computing devices that are web-enabled and have the capability of sensing, collecting, and sending data. IoT provides the ability to remote control appliances and has many more applications. Since IoT is becoming a big part of society, it is necessary to ensure that these devices provide adequate security measures. This paper discusses various security issues in IoT systems like threats, vulnerabilities and some countermeasures which can be used to provide some security. Developing a secure device is now more important than ever, as with the increase in digitization, much of a user’s data is available on these devices. Securing data is a primary concern in any system, as internet-enabled devices are easier to hack. The idea of this paper is to spread awareness and improve the security of IoT devices.

In the research on the construction of cold chain logistics intelligent system based on 5G ubiquitous Internet of Things as an emerging technology, the Internet of Things is penetrating into the logistics field with its technical advantages and changing the original industry form. According to the development status of cold chain logistics, this paper constructs a set of cold chain logistics intelligent system by using RFID technology, sensing equipment, GPS system, fuzzy PID hierarchical control, and other Internet of Things technologies and analyzes the impact of the cost sharing ratio of Internet of Things on the income of wholesalers, retailers, and supply chain. The example analysis shows that when retailers share all the adoption costs of the Internet of Things, the benefit of the whole fresh agricultural product cold chain logistics is the largest. This study provides a scientific basis for logistics decision-making for wholesalers and retailers and has important application value for improving the logistics efficiency of the whole fresh agricultural product cold chain.

The world strives to exploit the fourth revolution in technology, including the great developments such as the Internet of Things (IoT) to improve life. IoT technology is used in many areas of life from industry health and environment to personal life. Agriculture is, therefore, one of the key sectors of life that have benefited from modern technology such as the use of drones for crop assessment, irrigation, monitoring and mapping, big data in crop analysis for companies and countries. The Internet of Things was not far off as it was introduced to monitor plant irrigation. Increased awareness of the environment and the exploitation of small and semi-enclosed areas in agriculture and turning them into green areas. The IoT technology converts this process into intelligent and dynamic based on wireless sensing with the help of the device programmed by the Arduino. This data is collected in Power BI what to help in the future development of the device and analysis of the data. The device senses soil moisture and temperature and connects it to its cloud platform for optimal management of future planting. The device senses soil moisture and temperature and connects it to its cloud power BI platform for optimal management of future planting. This technology helps reduce agricultural costs and labor. Therefore, this paper proposes an intelligent system with the help of the Internet of Things in the management of smart farming in apartment building with the help of Arduino.

Technological developments continue to develop rapidly until the generation of the Internet of things (IoT). IoT is a collection of objects, in the form of physical devices (hardware / embedded systems) that can exchange information between operators or other devices connected to the system. One of the benefits that can be felt is a smart home or smart home, which is a term used to describe a modern residence, with remote control such as controlling electronic goods. This control is intended for savings in electricity use. By using the ESP32 which functions as a liaison between the device and the internet network so that electronic goods that are available from home can be controlled by using an application installed on the smartphone. Based on tests carried out for the same network with a distance of 20 meters the device is successfully controlled, namely turning on and off the electronic device with a response time of 5s for the fastest time and 40s for the longest time, then for different networks, the control can still be done. So that with this smart home application, electricity costs can be saved.
