The use of artificial intelligence is a modern important trend in the creation of promising information and control systems of vehicles, including special purpose. The high demands on augmented reality software simply cannot rely solely on human programming to display virtual objects against the real world. Neural networks and machine learning can perform these tasks with much greater efficiency and can greatly improve the augmented reality experience. Goal. The purpose of the article is to develop the concept of convergence of augmented reality and artificial intelligence technologies for special purpose vehicles. Methodology. Artificial intelligence technologies contribute to the transformation of the economy, labor market, government institutions and society as a whole. The use of artificial intelligence technologies helps to reduce costs, increase production efficiency, quality of goods and services. Augmented reality technology offers more innovative methods of visualization by expanding the boundaries of reality, controlling the perspective of the object and visualization in a real context. Results. The concept of convergence of augmented reality and artificial intelligence technologies for special purpose vehicles based on a synergetic approach has been developed. An integrated intelligent information and control system for special purpose vehicles with augmented reality technology has been developed. Originality. Using the convergence of augmented reality and artificial intelligence technologies for special purpose vehicles. Practical value. Convergence is the foundation for achieving numerous positive social and economic effects. The use of augmented reality technology and artificial intelligence can significantly increase the efficiency of special purpose vehicles.

Debates are an essential democratic institution in danger by the rise of Social Media. The advent of Fake News often referred to as the ‘crisis of trust’, has led to a substantial increase in debates that blend online and offline. It can be argued that blended approaches are not directly linked to increasing trustworthiness in the debate. To overcome this trust crisis and increase the reliability in debates, we introduce the HELIOSPHERE concept that seeks to use technological advances, such as Artificial Intelligence and Augmented Reality, to create a more fair, inclusive and transparent debate. The critical component for inclusiveness is Augmented Reality technology and 3D camera technology to hybridise the online and offline debating space and ensure that anyone who cannot be present can engage with the debate. For transparency and fairness, a key indicator of trust, an Artificial Intelligence dashboard is introduced to analyse and visualise speaking time, speaker gender, topic relatedness, bias detection sentiment in Real-Time. This work presents the overall theoretical concept focusing on academic and technical concepts to support reliable communication within debates.

The solar system is one of the natural phenomena taught at school. However, delivering the material is still text-based. One of the current technology-based learning uses technology Augmented Reality as a support for learning aid. Augmented Reality is an integrated two worlds, the real and the virtual. Augmented Reality for the solar system learning application was developed by applying the concept of the Rule-Based System algorithm as a simple artificial intelligence that aims to help augmented reality systems in simulating knowledge and experience from humans with several rules prepared. The existence of Augmented Reality facilitates the process of learning on specific topics such as the solar system more attractive and interactive, with aims to inspire students to learn the solar system. Based on the testing results at SDN Purwantoro 2 Malang, Indonesia 95% of respondents are interested and captivated by learning media applications using Augmented Reality technology.

Abstract Augmented reality technology (AR), also known as mixed reality, allows to enhance the seen reality with additional, virtual objects, displayed right in front of the user’s eyes. The article presents the concept of using Augmented Reality glasses, to support the user with pre-defined knowledge and instructions, giving the ability to do the job without almost any idea of what should be done. The operator simply follows the instructions shown in front of the eyes and communicate with the system with simple gesture and voice. Additionally, the article touches the topic of Artificial Intelligence (AI) which will allow the system in the future to have not only the pre-defined, hard coded instructions, but also the flexibility to give different hints to the user based on a different situation observed.
