A new control system of a hand gesture-controlled wheelchair (EWC) is proposed. This smart control device is suitable for a large number of patients who cannot manipulate a standard joystick wheelchair. The movement control system uses a camera fixed on the wheelchair. The patient’s hand movements are recognized using a visual recognition algorithm and artificial intelligence software; the derived corresponding signals are thus used to control the EWC in real time. One of the main features of this control technique is that it allows the patient to drive the wheelchair with a variable speed similar to that of a standard joystick. The designed device “hand gesture-controlled wheelchair” is performed at low cost and has been tested on real patients and exhibits good results. Before testing the proposed control device, we have created a three-dimensional environment simulator to test its performances with extreme security. These tests were performed on real patients with diverse hand pathologies in Mohamed Kassab National Institute of Orthopedics, Physical and Functional Rehabilitation Hospital of Tunis, and the validity of this intelligent control system had been proved.

This research is attempted to analyze the practices of mobile court and compare it with others. Based on the results of the study, the conclusions that can be obtained are that the implementation of the circuit court conducted at the Tasikmalaya District Religious Court has fulfilled several principles of civil procedural law, namely fast, simple and low cost. Among them when people who experience obstacles to come to the court office for reasons of distance, transportation and costs of the court come directly to the location, the bureaucracy is not complicated meaning that the implementation of the trial must be completed no later than 4 times the hearing, and the existence of an effective control system and various elements. Obstacles in the conduct of circuit courts include no standard guidelines for the holding of circuit courts, not all cases registered by residents are resolved in circuit courts, limited budgets, cases that have not been heard are all without prodeo, facilities and infrastructure, and not all religious courts hold circuit courts.

In this thesis, a novel AC-DC rectifier is adopted to convert the variable AC voltages from wind generator to a constant dc-link voltage. A DC-AC inverter is used to transfer the energy to fixed ac grid as well as maintain dc-link voltage constant. The rectifier is connected to the generator, which has two sets of three-phase windings. Electrical exited or permanent magnetic synchronous generators are suitable for this rectifier. The AC-DC rectifier features low cost, low power losses and simple control structure. The major content of this thesis consists of four parts. The first part investigates the operation of the AC-DC rectifier. The analysis illustrates the current paths in the rectifier and the remarkable voltage-boosting capability. A simulation model of the converter is built and verified. The second part models the synchronous generator with two sets of windings. The model is developed in the d-q synchronous reference frame. The simulation results from the model are verified by the experimental results.Then the third part is the design of the control system, which involves the generator, the AC-DC rectifier and constant dc-link voltage source. The control system composites of the inner current loop and the outer speed loop. The control system achieves the variable-speed operation of the generator and the regulation of the dc-link current. Finally, a prototype of wind turbine system is established in the lab to verify the analysis of rectifier, synchronous generator and control system design. The steady-state and transient responses of the wind system are compared. Simulation and experiment verify the analysis in this thesis.

Most customarily used motor in the industries are induction motor due to its low cost, robustness and less maintenance. The change in the existing framework is necessary in order to make the motor more efficient one. This paper cast enlightenment about the PLC based 3 phase multi-starter control induction motor with energy efficient single control system. In order to start the engine's operation by its own power, starters are used. Various starters are available to initiate the 3-phase induction motor namely Direct On-line, Star-delta, autotransformer and rotor impedance. The employment of this PLC based techniques helps to increase the energy efficiency of the motor .The employability of PLC in this system is to help in the growth of automation. It is easy to realize that most robots do not move to the desired endpoint (Tool Center Point (TCP)) using high-resolution noncontact instrumentation because of manufacturing and assembly errors, transmission system errors, and mechanical wear. This paper presents a robot calibration solution by changing the endpoint trajectories while maintaining the robot’s control system and device usages. Two independent systems to measure the endpoint positions, the robot encoder and a noncontact measuring system with a high-resolution camera, are used to determine the endpoint errors. A new trajectory based on the measured errors will be built to replace the original trajectory. The results show that the proposed method can significantly reduce errors; moreover, this is a low-cost solution and easy to apply in practice and calibration can be done cyclically. The only requirement for this method is a noncontact measuring device with high-resolution and located independently with the robot in calibration.

In present, plenty of solar greenhouse in northern China can't play maximum efficicency because of have no environmental control system. Through greenhouse construction for many years, a new practical HMG-2 type solar greenhouse with environmental automatic control system has been developped. This control system has "offline" and "online" two kind of working modes. The paper expounds the key technology adopted by the control system, which can greatly improve production performance of solar greenhouse. This environmental control system has many advantages such as low cost and easily to implement. It can meet the demand of users and has popularization value.

The paper describes the design, development, testing and use of a microcontroller- and PC-based control system which was used to repair and enhance an ASEA IRB6 welding robot in the authors' laboratory. The principles described could be applied to any robot of similar age and to provide a low-cost route to revitalise any working robot hardware that is limited by an outdated control system. The proposed approach addresses a problem within many manufacturing systems operating in industry.
