Such as that there are still many industrial companies that are not very aggressive in carrying out the B3 waste management process. This proves that the policies governing waste management have not been so effectively applied in life, this can be caused by several factors such as lack of awareness in managing B3 waste, a less strict supervision system, and also rules that are felt to be not too binding so that many do not manage B3 waste properly.

Environment protection has become an area of grave significance in the present century, due to new developments, for saving the planet from the evils of pollution, climate change and so on. However, a new kind of pollutant, called ‘e-waste,’ has emerged due to the Internet revolution, otherwise a boon for development, but which is fast becoming one of the biggest threats to environment in the knowledge society of 21st century. It is significant to note that even the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) has admitted that the amount of e-waste generated per year grows rapidly. E-waste is dangerous and poses a threat to human health and environment. What is more shocking is its transportation from developed to developing countries, which is being done on a large scale and such e-waste there is being handled and disposed of unscientifically creating environmental damage. It is noteworthy that protection of the environment and e-waste management is fast becoming a major Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). In promoting CSR as well as other responsibilities such as in the health or education sectors or poverty reduction, roughly 80 non-governmental organ sations (NGOs) (international or national) in collaboration with other actors have made sincere efforts raising awareness through campaigns by lobbying and so on. However, only a few of them are engaged in e-waste management related activates. This article is an attempt to study the role of Environmental NGOs (ENGOs) in promoting CSR, especially with regard to environment protection and e-waste management.

Lake Nakuru National Park is choking of solid and liquid waste pollutants emanating from upstream more so during the windy and rainy seasons. Due to the nature of terrains, most of the flashflood water and the drainage system find its way to the lake. The strong winds from the upper area of the town collect waste which ends up on top of the forest trees around the lake. Further, at times the sewer system bursts and discharges the raw sewer to the park. These unfortunate incidences lead to damage or destruction of the ecosystem that has been protected over the years. The purpose of the study was to examine the influence of Corporate Social Responsibility on Industrial Waste Management within Nakuru Environs and Lake National Park. The study adopted Stakeholders and Institutional theories for its study. A sample of 55 employees of Lake Nakuru National Park and 15 Community Business Leaders were used for the study. Primary data was collected using questionnaires and interview schedule. It was established that an effective industrial waste management practices on the environment has positive economic effects for businesses prosperity, flora and fauna conservation as well as a sustainable environmental. Environmental conservation awareness trainings for most businesses had been undertaken. Most of the business people held some sense of responsibility on managing waste as they conduct their businesses but the issue mainly lies on the part of the consumer’s disposal of packaging materials. Consumers were also becoming increasingly aware, sensitive and alive to the fact that a clean and safe environment is important. The emerging model shows the need to shift from the traditional 3Rs to 5Rs, owing to changes in national environmental policies, which emphasis on the use of Repackaging of products in terms of quality management, and reduce as additional waste management practices, thus, a shift from the 3Rs to 5Rs. The study recommended that the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources should mobilize financial, technical and physical resources for building the capacity of the local community, and the business community towards effective industrial waste management. There should be strict compliance to industrial waste management policies by all stakeholders. Emphasis on the 5R’S from the marketing perspective was also recommended. This way, waste will be minimized and the environment will be conserved. The recommendations will be beneficial to the County Government, the Business Community as well as the Park Management. It can also assist the National government in formulating policies that can assist in addressing issues to do with environmental concerns and management. Kuta Selatan subdistrict is one of the tourism hotspots in Bali, as shown by the rates of development in the economic sector, especially in the tourism industry. The numbers of accommodations in Kuta Selatan, from 2018 data, are 329 non-star hotel, 33 five star hotels, 12 four star hotels, 12 three star hotels, 12 four star hotels and approximately 150 private villas (BPS,2019). Daily operation of hotels produces hazardous waste such as electronic waste, LED light, oil and chemical containers. Electronic waste is content with heavy metal such as mercury, lead, lithium and cadmium. Hazardous wastes that are released into the environment without any treatment can be harmful for public health. The purpose of this research is to know how far tourism industries, especially hotels and private villas, have implemented the requirements for hazardous waste management. Hazardous waste management consists of permits, container, storage, collection and treatment. Permits and temporary hazardous waste storage are mandatory requirements for hotels to have as a first step of the whole process of hazardous waste management. Based on the data collection from 150 samples, we are shown that 70% of hotels with a capacity of 300-400 rooms already have hazardous waste temporary storage as well as the permit. With smaller scale hotels, only 50% already have hazardous waste temporary storage, as well as the permit. In contrast, in small scale accommodation, such as hotels with a capacity under 100 rooms, and private villas, only 4 % have proper hazardous waste temporary storage.

Topicality. In recent years the waste management as an object of nature using economy and transdisciplinary scientific direction has become increasingly evolved both in applied and in the conceptual (theoretical and political) values. The negative situation with domestic and industrial wastes in Ukraine reflects world trends, in particular, in the groups of countries with only a developing economy. Garbage on the streets of large cities, increasing the number of unauthorized landfills, loss of valuable materials due to inefficient waste sorting and indifferent attitude to the idea of recycling – this list, unfortunately, can be continued further. Not only restraining factor to the aggravation of the environmental situation in the country caused by the placement of waste into the environment, there is a decline in production and poverty of the population. In such circumstances, given the fact that in the short and medium term, financial incentives to improve the situation look rather ghastly, it is advisable to turn to the review of the theoretical basis of their solution to the problem of waste. Moreover, it is necessary to find solutions at the conceptual level , in particular, by adapting to the present ukrainian economy the popular concept of an extended producer responsibility in the western countries and aspects of waste management in the framework of corporate social responsibility, etc. Aim and tasks. Purpose of the article is justification of a conceptual approach to improving the waste management situation in a country with an unstable economy. Such an approach should be grounded on the position of responsible waste management in its economic and environmental dimensions. To do this, it is necessary to analyze the relationship between the main subjects of the “economy of waste”, and to compare the innovative conceptual approaches in waste management, united by ties with the concept of responsibility.Research results. During the research, we found that economic responsibility, in that number in waste management, is the responsibility of the entity to be responsible for the commitments he has taken; in particular the compensation for losses which can be caused by it may be it to the property of other entities or the environment. According to Max Weber, the problem of responsibility is inextricably linked to the notion of ethics: "ethics of persuasion" and "ethics of responsibility"; the ethics of persuasion is related with the direction to perfection, and therefore the responsibility for practical actions is very weak. At the national level, significant changes are needed in environmental policy in terms of increasing responsibility for waste management (in particular packaging waste); it is based on the following principles: priority of environmental protection and human health, prevention of the formation of packaging waste, promotion of the development of a competitive market environment, separation of packaging waste collection and arrangement of places for their authorized harvesting, maximum use of waste packaging as a secondary raw material, the formation of ecological consciousness of the population and individual social groups and citizens, innovation and science in relation to the technical and technological and ecological and economic aspects of packaging waste management, a combination of effective incentives and regulatory policy in the field of packaging waste management, etc.Conclusions. In the article it is determined that the conceptual principles of the waste problem research cover the theoretical basis (the position of the economy of nature management, the economy of waste, the economy of secondary resources) and the political component (environmental, social, regulatory policy – in those aspects that intersect with the formation and waste management) . As part of the analysis of the relationship between the waste problem and the concept of liability, attention is focused on such existing concepts: the concept of corporate social responsibility (in aspects of waste management), the concept of extended producer responsibility, the concept of integrated waste management. It is proposed to modify certain aspects of the concepts under study in order to form a new approach of “ecologically-expanded motivated producer responsibility”. This will allow for a comprehensive consideration of social and environmental factors in waste management in the medium-term perspective.
